My transmission blew up on my nissan. I saw this video and bought a 2024 6 speed manual jetta. My first vw its a sophisticated masculine refined car that can be comfortable or rip it up if you want all with 42 mpg. Great value feels like a way nice car for the money.
ОтветитьEsse é um pouco diferente do que tem no Brasil.
ОтветитьEsse carro é demais.
ОтветитьI bought a 2024 Jetta sport with the manual last month. You do get a spare tire on the '24 model now, and i love the mileage since i drive about 20,000 miles a year. My distance to empty literally did not change over three days and just over 60 miles of driving after filling it up once. Saves me so much money.
ОтветитьWhy you said we sre going out because of cold
ОтветитьYou can turn off the traction through the touch screen.
Ответитьthis interoir is better than the Golf gti or R. this should be the way gti should be button. that capacitive is garbage
ОтветитьYou have horsepower and torque mixed
ОтветитьSadly no SE with manual transmission. Don't understand that decision at all tbh
ОтветитьOnly sport and base trim S is available in manual unfortunately. SE and SEL are automatic only. SE adds leatherette seats, sunroof and has the IQ drive as standard. It also gets remote start and heated front seats which are nice to have.
ОтветитьI just bought one and im in love with this car , fantastic car for that money
ОтветитьNo call visually fools you into thinking it’s way more expensive when people look at it then the Jetta or Golf even the new Atlas manages to do that
ОтветитьI bought one of these thanks to your guy's review as my first manual transmission car. I love it so much and it's actually the same color and package as the one in the video.
ОтветитьNPC interactions 😂
ОтветитьI got one to travel back and forth from CO to my beach condo in MD. For some reason the Sport models with IQ all lacked blind spot. I ended up getting the S with the 8 speed since I wanted all of the safety features. The 8 speed is an Asin Japanese trans (same that BMW & Lexus 40k + FWD cars use). Im used to driving only Mercedes and Lexus on long highway trips. This honestly drives about the same as my 2019 C300 which was 55k 😂
ОтветитьThis car is fantastic and absolutely worth buying over something like a Civic or Corolla. That said, first look for a Mk7.5 Golf with the same engine auto or manual. It’s even better.
Ответитьi just bought one of these for 21k, 300/m payment, fucking dank i love it
ОтветитьIt's sad to think I bought a brand new 2017 Jetta for $16k. And it was as good as this one. I see minor changes. Now it's so much more expensive!!
ОтветитьI stopped watching when your graphic presented the incorrect power figures.
ОтветитьYou can turn eco tips off that's been in vw since 2015
ОтветитьI'm selling my 23 gti for this car and saving 15k
ОтветитьI have a 2016 Jetta Manual , and in 1st, it can only handle up to 10 mph while cruising in a parking lot. Same with the MK7 . There are very few manual transmission cars that will effectively cruise in a parking lot in 2nd . The engine will lug .🙄
ОтветитьThe Jetta is the last compact in the US that you can still get a manual transmission in a base model. That is crazy to think about.
ОтветитьRed cars are, and always, have been the most desirable stolen vehicles. The insurance for a red car is more costly, as well.
ОтветитьNot a bad trim but it needs push to start.
ОтветитьJust got my 2021 jetta and love it
ОтветитьI’m in Canada and have the sport model. It’s a little more equipped then the US model. You get fake leather seats, a spare tire, the upgraded digital cockpit, upgraded radio, led lighting along the dashboard, dual climate control. And to turn off traction control you have to do it through the radio.
ОтветитьMy Jetta I get 580 miles on a tank of gas.
Ответитьwait. Hold up. Do I spy TWO(!) SVT Contour's in the parking lot?! 🤤
ОтветитьHow does this car feel way nicer than 24k? 🤣 its literally hard touch plastics everywhere. Interior wise at least
ОтветитьPeople' Car!
ОтветитьI’m now in my second week with my Jetta Sport, I upgraded from a Kia Soul. I didn’t know how underpowered my Kia was until I drove this thing. It’s such a blast to drive, especially on the freeway or winding mountain roads. I’ve never had this much fun driving a car, and it’s not even the highest trim. Not to mention the excellent value and the way it balances modern technology with the good ‘ol fashioned switches and knobs. I’m very, very happy with my choice.
ОтветитьPunches over its weight class. Should add a package with heated seats and better sound system for those who desire those things.
Ответитьthese base model Jettas are fantastic values. I share your enthusiasm for it. 50 MPG and not bad to drive at all
ОтветитьI have an 2018 Jetta Automatic. Fun car
ОтветитьIt's funny because I have this car for work, because I drive a lot. Bought it for the manual and the mpg. I get around 41-43mpg, but I live in VT and everything is back roads with hills. Mine was a little over 24k. I've had it for 6 months and have 22k on it now.
ОтветитьPleasantly surprised. Affordable, very fuel efficient, and (presumably) good reliability. And with minimal rev hang? Dang.
ОтветитьIll let you drive a 08 manny jetta 2.5 if you want
ОтветитьDM, Congratulations to VW for outlasting the manual Corolla sedan.
ОтветитьWhy manual prevent carbon buildup? I have not heard of this method yet.
ОтветитьI've always been kinda interested in these. Coulda saved about 10 grand going with this over the Camry Hybrid LE that I ended up getting. I would have deff got the manual too.
ОтветитьPlease do a Toyota corolla hatchback or sedan with the 2.0 and 6spd
Ответитьi think you can turn traction off through the infotainment screen. our vw has the same screen and there’s an option in there.
ОтветитьSport trim gets you the torque-vectoring differential and better seats, so it's not just an exterior trim package. SE and SEL models regrettably do not have a manual option, so no way to get the proxy key or a decent audio system with the stick, which sucks, but I wouldn't pay $28k for a 1.5t Jetta anyways. This being available at $21-23k makes a huge difference.
ОтветитьI would be more embarrassed being seen in that 7 series than VW Jetta.
ОтветитьThis is a great car that fills a very necessary niche in the market. Well equipped, really missing nothing of importance, great fuel economy, reasonably fun and $24,000. I wish more companies would put out basic (but really not so basic) commuter cars, cars for students, cars for those just starting out in their careers.. The new Trax is a step on the right direction. I don't think many people think of the Jetta (or wouldn't consider a VW). I know I would if I were in one of those situations.
ОтветитьNo manual for the SE trim.
Ответитьsolid review, really surprised vw makes you pay more for keyless ignition. great fuel economy too
