Thanks for sharing your methods, really useful for newbies like me.
ОтветитьPretty useless video. Stupid music as well. Not at all helpfull
ОтветитьThat Looks so hard 😭 I dont know how to get started with it
ОтветитьFirst rule of planking. No plank must ever finish at a point!
Ответить91% of the people who watched this video did not subscribe to the channel. If you want to support me and encourage me in making more videos about ship modelling you can show me your appreciation by subscribing to the channel, it's free =)
ОтветитьPlease focus more on the educational aspect, especially the sizes and maps
ОтветитьThank you very much for your professionalism and your ability to accurately introduce the required materials and sizes as well as work methods
ОтветитьWe have seen you use several pieces of equipment and was wondering if you would do a video of the different tools you use please?
ОтветитьNice idea on the aluminum channel as a jog for the tapering. Will put that idea to good use.
ОтветитьFinishing the ship is my favorite part of the job)))
Ответитьyou make it look easy......thanks for the video
ОтветитьHow do you work out the taper of the planks ? My dad has left me two of these wooden ships as well as all the material. He's to old to finish them so gave the whole lot to me. He assembled the basic hull structure , but no planking yet.
Ответитьhaven't seen anything lately on the fifie, are you still working on it?
ОтветитьThanks for the video! I wish to start my adventure with wooden models but the amount of effort required to do planking correctly scares me off :-)
ОтветитьYou nailed your planks instead of using glue. I think it's geat, very authentique. Although I was hoping you showed us how you caulked the boat. That would have been awsome. ; )
ОтветитьWhere can one get the metal channel tool that you use to hold several of the planks in place while you sand them together?
ОтветитьI appreciate your channel so much! I am learning a lot, am about to build a Sterling 40" planked powerboat. Your work is really beautiful; being able to watch you work is worth about a thousand books. No detail is too small, since these problems loom when we build and seeing how a pro foxes the glitch is very informative.
May I ask what type of filler or putty or Bondo you are using? I am already going to use the Tightbond...
Brilliant planking best I've seen does the same principal apply with kit ships how you've planked ?
ОтветитьTruly helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your technique!
