I fill the scratch with similar color glazing compound using a rubber spatula. Then proceed as shown. Once the scratch is nearly filled, it is far less noticeable.
ОтветитьI can still see it 😓
ОтветитьTerrible!
ОтветитьI think this is like anything else, you can only get the result of the tools you have. I don't like these pens a scratch will require more paint in one place and less in another. I think I would dab it on my figure and work the paint into the scratch. Let dry a good while then depending on how it looks it may need an additional coat. Next, as you did, wet sand until it's all level. Clean it apply a clear coat, polish, and enjoy. Thank you-
ОтветитьWhat a waste of time
ОтветитьHow did u learn this? It's amazing.
ОтветитьPretty rough job. Sanded too large an area to start with. Only sand the scratch and a millimeter or two either side. Mask off both sides of the scratch then use a 00 paint brush to slowly build up the layers as many as you need. Sand flat with 2 or 3,000 then mask off again and brush on the clear as many layers as needed. Sand that close to flat with 3,000 then dead flat with 5,000 let it cure for a few hours then buff with a DA not a rotary. The more time you take doing this the better
ОтветитьCars paint destroyed.
ОтветитьMy first job was a painters apprentice at a collision center. Uou want to try and feather the edges of the scratch so you don’t have high spots protruding above the new paint. Also lay the pad flat and use X strokes. A drop of dawn in the water also helps out while wet sanding.
ОтветитьYou are the man. I could probably do this on my own, but I'll pay someone to get this job done. However, this project is awesome for those who are very handy. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThat scratch is still outlined must of been very deep. Good video
ОтветитьPoor job
ОтветитьLove how many people get on these videos and in the comments do nothing but talk shit. At least there are actually people who take the initiative to try to do something on their own. These people talking $hit probably have all kinda scratches and paint damage on their vehicles. Probably don't even know how to change their own oil let alone paint correction. Damn haters
Ответитьwith closed eyes you cant even tell there was a scratch
Ответить🤣🤣🤣 i ktoś za to zapłacił ??
Ответитьlooks like the acetone fogged your paint around the scratch
ОтветитьReading through the comments as the video plays, you people made me hit the panic button and I thought I just flushed $35 down the drain. Is it a perfect fix? No. Is it still visible? Yeah, some angles more than others. Does it stick out like a sore thumb? No where close to how people are reacting in the comments.
Come on people its not a tiny Chip Foose in a box, its a fucking pen. The car you're trying to touch up probably isn't going to be winning any car shows. I think for what it is works at a satisfactory level. 3 weeks after applying i bet you start to not even notice it anymore
I’m sorry but I still can see the scratch, it is much better than before because the black color by itself coverup a lot the scratch but is not perfect. I think I can do a better job if I fill up even more inside the scratch.
ОтветитьFender flares ruined the paint on a truck I just bought, thank you for this video
ОтветитьSorry guys but that was an awful job.
I bet the tail light has scratched dull areas too as you didn’t tape it off and came into contact with it a few times with the sand paper.
Changer de métier bande de charlatans, vous faites vraiment de la grosse merde 🤢🤮🤮
Ответить"Make sure to not touch with oily fingers"
continues to prep, sand and touch with oily fingers
And this is why I’m sceptical of doing this job myself 🙈
ОтветитьI’m running from that garage when I see that gold watch. They can keep my car too 😂
ОтветитьЗдравейте от България ли сте видях мартениците на ръката
ОтветитьLooks better but you can still see the scratch
ОтветитьThank you for sharing.❤
ОтветитьWhen you wash your car, it will become coarse again
ОтветитьNot perfect, but so much better than before, thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьGod knows how much I laughed by watching this video 😂
This is the most ugliest car paint work I have ever seen. They are dressed like professionals, but all their steps to remove the scratch were like a novice mistakes. The last result speaks it all. 🤣
Looks terrible imo, why not just sand the whole area down and rattle can paint it? Then 2k it, there would be zero scratch at all then.
ОтветитьAuto Repair Guys for sure 😀
ОтветитьIt's good but not perfect...
ОтветитьOk
ОтветитьHaving an electric buffer doesn't make you a professional.
ОтветитьYou can still see it
ОтветитьLooks great. This would be great for my flip cars.
ОтветитьShit how much is that take it may cost at least $2000
ОтветитьDipping a brush in clear and run it across the applied and sanded paint would have really sealed the job and preserved it and then wet sand it and polish it would protect it since after some time after rainy days and car washes it will become visible again! just a tip to add for others how to make the job even better! other than that everything else was done right and correct!
ОтветитьAlot of negative results but this was all accomplished with a paint pen and wax - it looks far, far better than the actual scratch - for me this was a success
Ответить😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ответитьok ok ok :D
ОтветитьWow what a horrible video
ОтветитьThese dudes have no clue what there doing lol. Dont do this
ОтветитьThese guys do a bad job in every video on how to fix deep scratch. DO NOT follow their method
ОтветитьStill looks fucking horrible lol
Ответитьtouched it with greassy fingers while saying: don't touch it with greassy fingers. looool
and generally, for a presentation - pretty bad prepared ... like the result: pretty bad. i assuming that your fans have eye problems or even blindness.
