Dafuq, even in update 1.6 , this game doesn't run as smooth as this demo in ps4 pro, I completed the game on 1.5 update, 50 hours with countless game crashes in almost every 2-4 hours, audio issues, texture pop ins/texture loading issues, characters awkward animations during cutscenes, yeah frame rate was stable afai can remember

Game was great no doubt, I was totally immersed in the world, but even at this stage, performance is not even near what they marketed in this demo

Disappointing. they shouldn't have released it on last gen at first place

Can I still buy this in 2077?

Since shooting birds on video is legal someone should make a video shooting a cardinal bird

ps4 version had alot of issues but seeing the gameplay and the drastically humans been added to the streets gives me high hopes that my ps5 wont lose that Alive city feel ps4 version was a litteral empty ghost city game looks alright on ps5 version cant complain about that

Coming back to this before Dying Light 2 comes out and like my god, they literally didn't show any combat or exploration. I remember playing through this on my base Xbox One and the prologue was fine, and the dialogue but whenever I drove or got into combat the game would be at like 5fps. They hid the most laggy and broken aspects from us.

Whereas Dying Light 2 as of 29th of January 2022 has shown BASE Xbox One footage with combat, parkour and cutscenes that look so smooth.

To all the cry babies out here, the game did look like this. Except the bugs, this game should have never been released on base consoles. PS4 Pro was acceptable at best. They ruined it trying to optimize it for base PS4 and XBOX One which was even weaker. They should've delayed it to Dec 2022 and get rid for last gen launching. Unfortunately, stakeholders forced their hands.

If this is the PS4 version then I think I bought the PS3 version

This is exactly how the game looked on my Series X. Didn’t run this smoothly during fast paced scenes, but oh well.

Wow. From a game that was treated like the king of the world, to the biggest blunder in all of vidya. It’s honestly sad that CDPR didn’t give it any second thoughts, they just shipped this game to us and it looked nothing like we imagined. And it’s crazy how this game was marketed for Last-Gen consoles, just for it to launch like crap. At least it’s back on the PS Store, but CDPR should’ve slammed the brakes on it if they knew what was gonna happen to them

Feels bad to see a company scam all those who cheered for them and act like they didn't know that the game had so many problems, like why would you do this instead of delaying the game?
