I Beat Marvel's Avengers and the DLC 100% so you don't have to

I really like this game, mostly because I can turn my brain off if need be, the charecters all look great, and I the special moves were dope

Finally, somebody gets it! The single-player wasn't that bad! Although, the power-scaling is still horrendous, Hulk should not be doing the same damage as Black Widow.

Austin you leveled up all the characters in all skill trees ? You used some cheat or easy way to do this? I´m playing the game in ps4, it`s infested with bugs but even then i still like it(call me crazy). Also very nice videos!

Marvel's Avengers was an okay game, but it could have been done better and I thought they story was pretty good also, but needed some polishing.

Sucks the plat is unobtainable. I'm going for all of the obtainable marvel plats atm.

I stopped at the hulk vs abomination fight. Couldn’t be bothered to continue..

instead of making kamala the protagonist, it should've been a custom character since theres already an explanation for some random person getting powers, and the grindy loot system could be implemented to actually be important since you have a character you can tweak and customize

Is it strange that the only realistic thing in this storyline is a corporation that is extremely eugenics focused is yet does not work in genetics but in the robotic technologies. Also their CEO becomes really big headed! What's next they're going to buy a social media company and drag it down into oblivion and just replace a fantastic already branded name with a letter! [am I hitting this way too on the nose]

That makes sense why everyone doesn’t like it but I love the game I grew up with the Avengers and they are my favorites I don’t care how bad the game is I love walking around as my favorite avenger(Hawkeye)

The overall concept of the game looked really good they just didn’t execute it right.

If anyone has this for the Xbox, you can't buy this game digitally anymore. If you have the hard copy, you can still auto download the Definitive edition that's 159GB. I'm grabbing it now so that I'll at least have to option of playing the final version if I choose to do so.

I bought this game two days after it released for the Xbox Series X for 28.00 bucks including shipping. I thought that I had scored a great deal, turned out, I got shafted. Lol!

it honestly sucks because with all the bugs and stuff nobody gave the game a second chance after the game got its updates it was actually really fun all the characters were cool had nice outfits and all were enjoyable to play the content was a bit repetitive but still fun with friends and other players doing duo finishers on bigger baddies and fighting with different avenger squads was awesome wish they didnt take it down for purchase to give those people who want to try it that chance because it deserves love heres to a great game that had a unfortunate release and a great ending maybe will see another game at some point try something with this idea

Honestly it had so much potencial. i was one those gamers who played with the beta and also preordered teh delux as well. This game could have been so much more, like ultimate alliance 3 long when it comes to storyies, places, heroes, enemies, bosses etc. duuude that coudl have been a anew golden egg for both disney, CD etc. but nooo. its so sad. well i defiently had so much with encountering bugs with Thor that i was highjacked into the oblivion and literally i had to use teh bifrost in order to get back to the map with my budies so i can actually carry them :D

This game would probably be more fun without the story.

Captain america and the avengers did leave an impact. You just probably were not born yet to play it in the arcades and then on the genesis. I wish they would re-release it on steam because I would rather play that than get the 2020 version lol. Marvel also killed Marvel Heroes that was on steam for several years with the intention of replacing it with this modern version. Disney/Marvel are out of touch now. Marvel heroes had a roster of like 80+ heroes and played like Diablo 4.

This is a great review, sadly too spoilery, removing telling the story bits would have made the more important and def appreciated content breakdown more accessible

It’ll always pain me that this game’s life was cut short cause I actually really like it, and I would’ve loved to see some of the teased characters like Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel and She-Hulk.

The game is 4 dollars right now and I think it's a perfect amount for insulting a crappy publisher like Square Enix.

You convinced me to actually buy this game on PS4/5. I'd tried it when the game first hit Xbox Game Pass, and found the prologue both boring and so glitchy it was impossible to complete due to constant game crashes during the Hulk section of the prologue. I'd heard the moment to moment game play was actually fun, but my first impression was that Avengers was a broken and unplayable mess. I've now completed the base game's campaign, spent a fair bit of time playing as Spiderman (he's fun), and just wandering around the outposts as various heroes chatting with others. It's a shame we'll never see the story's conclusion. But at least the game's playable offline, unlike so many other Games As A Service titles.

This is pretty much the first good review I’ve seen for this game, making me feel much better about picking it up yesterday when it was $5, which I was worried was still too much.

Speaking of the glitches, one time I was playing with a team of random people and an essential enemy got stuck in a wall. I actually figured out how to defeat it and allows us to progress! It was one of those rare positive experiences to come out of a situation like that.

She-Hulk could’ve convinced me to buy this

Ghost of Tsushima has the same raid issue. The raids are absurdly complicated and trying to random into one is a surefire fail. That could be interesting if it wasn't tied to a trophy. Tsushima is one of my favorite games of all time and the multiplayer is way more fun than it has a right to be, but locking completion behind something potentially impossible is absolutely braindead. I eventually got on the Discord to get a completion, but what if the community had already dried up? I genuinely believe trophies that require servers and multiplayer after launch for a single player game should be abolished. That 100% shouldn't be tainted.
