Discovery 2200 Metal Detector from Bounty Hunter

Has any one had a gold hit. And If so what did it register at for idetufier on the machine

It doesn't work in water, I use it in beach but not dry sand. I bought mine 3 months ago. And I found some coins and my first Silver Ring after just 3 times of detection.

Just got mine today. Can't wait to use it.

Batteries don't fit

dont waste your time with any metal detector made by THEM ...i made the mistake of buying 1 and its just a junk finder... returned to dicks sporting goods and got back my 175$ us that i paid and went to citrus heights BIG VALLEY METAL DETECTORS and got a tosoro compadre and i am very pleased with it ...160$ for a detector that really works..found a 24 karat. 18gram bracelet worth 650$ on the first hunt out...

It is a great entry level detector.....I picked mine up for $100 CAD and first time out got a gold wedding band. That said it is a bitch at times for signals....lots of junk but you can manage some nice finds.

I would recommend it for those wanting to see if they want to get into the hobby,
