ROLAND... Any chance you could add the ability to move and edit imported samples please? Having to move them into user groups 1 by 1 via the 8s is a time suck

The software does amplify the functionality of the TR-8S hardware. If could be more user-friendly if the software also showed the current Pattern and Kit numbers in the top-left main display. I also agree with other comments from users about showing the step play position in the overall Pattern view. This would be great visual integration if the play position on the device was followed in the software.

The editor is really good, if there was another update it would very nice if the makers of the editor more to look at the EDM direction,
adding to the INST FX list an overdrive, (pre) distortion, multiband distortion and an amp cab in the list would be really nice which I miss a bit here
layering more effects on 1 track would be also a awesome update in the tr editor
there is space to add these nice stuff if i look to the editor
hope yopu guys can make that possible for shure many people will like that

Does the editor really not have a start/ stop button for the sequence? I can't seem to find it if there is? If I want to start a pattern the only way is to physically push the start/stop button on the tr8s? Surely I am just missing it...?

Me and other users are having USB connection problem with TR-Editor. Even though everything is up to date and the hardware is working perfectly, the TR-Editor does not recognize the TR8S. There are several reports like mine in forums for over a year and until today Roland has not given any solution.

Sample import… please… having multiple samples and having to import manually via the hardware over SD is honestly a pain. How the developers skipped that basic functionality and instead added the ability to change the colors of the sliders I’ll never know.

Bug: Editor can't change color of HC CH OH voices on the machine, though they do change on the editor screen!

Please Expand TR Editor! For example, piano roll edit for pitched sounds if you want.🎹

The copy button on the pattern screen was skipped and not demonstrated. Can you tell me how to copy a pattern from A to B for example, in the TR Editor?

I love my tr8s but it would be dope if they would expand the sampling capabilities like time stretching or directly sampling into the device.

any idea why the editior is not connection to my TR-8s? in ableton all is fine, but the Editor lacks. FW 2.03 and macOS10.15 - no chance at all to connect the Editior with the device. help?

Wtf...I can't understand why it doesn't run on my iOs Sierra (and so far ok, it says in description it's not compatible and we all already know that no company builds good drivers for ios that are not continuously updated to the latest version), but does not run neither on Windows 10 64bit !! I don't know if the problem comes from the fact that I run Win on VMware Fusion, or if it's the software that is also incompatible with Win10. Drivers downloaded, system restarted, what should I do? :( I think I will write to Roland support to hear what they tell me.
Of course it must be said that these operating systems have more and more gaps, at least with my poor informatics' notions.

When the individual instrument effects are applied can these be recorded via usb tracks 3-8 into your DAW or do the seperate instruments output 'dry' ? Is it only the stereo out the carries the seperate instrument effects (not global fx but the individual bd, sn ect)

why do sample based sounds have params when the actual synth generated acb ones don't? That is absolutely mental.

Thanks for the update @RolandChannel. In the Editor > Patter, how do you toggle the ‘Scale’ function (above the step sequencing grid) on the TR8S hardware itself?
