same thing happened to my 8th grade math teacher but we didnt get sat down and told that she passed, we all just knew

When I was in elementary school, I was placed in a special resources class that was there as extra help for me to read better and faster becaues my reading level was very low. It also helped me with my Speech appetimate (i stutter) my teacher was a very tough and no non senes woman and was very involved in all the school activities, but was so very carring. She and her son were murdered and no body found there bodies till 8 days laters, this was 2017. Whats worst was she was dating one of the staff members at my elementary school, he lived right across the street from thw school. He was tall, spoke in a deep and slow Monotone voice, bald and wore glasses, he was the one who murdered bothed of them. I didnt hear about this till about 5 yeats after it happened. I would of dropped everything to be at her funeral, I miss her.

My 1st grade teacher had 2 strokes on there right side i had moved schools by the time this happened( he didn’t die) but i wish i was there I and wish i could see him again.

One of the teacher at my school was deaf and could not hear anything.she got hearing aids to help her but she can't hear her own voice,and sometime when her back door is open she's loud but we know the reason.😢

My Algebra 2 teacher list her husband this year. A month later, I'd gotten my first paycheck from my job and spent 25 dollars to buy a slightly weighted, lavender scented elephant plush for the teacher because it was her favorite animal. I told her that lavender and weight often helped me when i lost my dogs, and that i hoped this would help her, even if only a little. She gave me the brightest smile she'd had since her husband had first gotten sick and thanked me. I dont know if it helped her or if she still has it, its not my business. I only hope that it made her feel better for a day or two

There's a teacher in our country that was so excited of teaching kids again after the pandemic was over back in 2021, not even 2 weeks after students go back to their schools, the teacher died because of stress. I heard that in the news.

My old teacher got cancer

In 6th grade we found out our reading teacher had cancer. It was heartbreaking for us. Her kid was also in our class. To this day I still feel horrible for him.

There was this teacher at my school. Let’s call him Mr. Win. Mr. Win was a normal high school teacher. One day I came to school a bit early. When kids come early, we have to wait in the gym. I didn’t want to and since it would only be a minute I just went to my locker. When I got into class all the kids just sat in silence. I had no idea what happened until my teacher got up and talked. Apparently Mr. Win had a heart attack in the gym with kids and dropped dead. It was heartbreaking to most high schoolers who he taught. He was a great teacher. May he forever rest in peace.

I remember that two years ago I had a pretty good math teacher, which is kinda rare. He was funny, was good at teaching math and even played games.
So when new year came, we got the news from the principal that he had a hear atrack and passed away. He was a good guy, rest in peace

When I was in 6th or 7th grade, we were in online school. We had a school online group where announcements would be made. One day I was in break after my class ended and my dad comes in and shows me the school group messages. Seems that my 2nd standard teacher died due to covid. That was so heartbreaking that I started to cry.😢

I found out one of my teachers got pregnant and she was I wanna say obese but I don’t wanna be rude, but she was basically obese but me knowing what me knowing how to get a person pregnant at the time I would I felt sorry for her husband

i have this algebra teacher who is kind of a hard ass, he’s not the best teacher but he has good intentions if that makes sense…he tries to bond with us by making kinda rude jokes (like kids do nowadays) well his daughter is one of my best friends and one day she was like “no one likes u” as a joke kinda and he said “everyone does” and she replied “no they don’t” cause a lot of kids don’t.. then he kind of went quiet and like 30 minutes later said “do they really not like me?” and when she told me this, my outlook of him changed and my heart broke…i started crying in class

My first grade teacher had Covid and Pneumonia

In my 6th or 7th grade year i learned my gym teacher from 5th grade passed away and i was devastated i didn't like gym but she was always sweet and I always thought she'd live a lot longer cause she always said she would exercise and stay healthy so i didn't expect her to pass a year or two later may she rest in peace 🕊️

I’ve been ill my whole life. Spent large portions of my childhood in hospital. When I was a teen I spent lots of time in my local hospital and one day I came out of the room I was in and there in front of me was my Math Teacher holding a little girls hand. She was only small and in a night gown with a broken arm. He started crying and just walked away. I never saw him or the little girl again. About a week later I was back at school and found out his wife and daughter had been in a major car accident and his wife had died. About 6 months later he had a mental breakdown in class.

There was a teacher at my school whose husband was also a teacher for a different subject at that school. She was about 7 months pregnant when her husband was arrested for child pornography found on his school device. We later found an ambulance the next day near her side of the school and found out she had committed suicide in the teachers bathrooms 💔

Once I learn that my one teachers dad is an alcoholic man and when my teacher was 13 years old her mom die and than her father starts to drink more and also stop going out her dad always used to beat her by anything he can get and when she reach 14 her one neighbour take her home with her but her dad don't mind really,they send her to school and now she is senior secondary teacher,I know this story because her aunt's daughter study in our school she is 1 year younger than me but she is my closest friend she also have said me that now her dad is asking her for money but she don't help her😢

3 days ago, our beloved teachER sadly passed away aftER a 4 month battle with Typhoid, TB, and Meningitis. We found out during our graduation pictorial. The news sunk in latER at night. I cried for hours, he was only 22 years old

In 10th grade shortly before graduation, my teacher of 4 years died during a skiing accident. The whole class wasn't like it used to be until graduation. We held a big goodbye party, it was truly sad.

A teacher tought U.S. History, and taught 11th graders. I was one of them who was put in their class for the 2021-2022 school year. After the school year was done in June, this teacher had passed due to cancer in late August, just 2 weels after the new school year began. Basically when I tried going to their room to say hi to them, just hoping to see them again, this one teacher was fighting for their life, and it has been a secret to a lot of us. The faculty knew about their condition, and students didnt find out until after they had passed what had happened. As a matter of fact, the day after theyve passed, students, teachers, faculty, everyone had found out from simple email about their passing. Faculty knew what condition they were in, they just didnt know how much time was left on their clock which is why an email was sent to everyone. The feeling of being there like any normal day was all of a sudden completely different. Like this person, the teacher inspired them about film, this teacher furthered my interest with history, politics, and government. I dont know what impact they've had on others, but this is just one of few teachers who had a big impact on me. So, to think this one teacher passed very quickly after starting to get to know them, yeah shocking, it all felt exactly how op described, some silent, some asked, some cried. I myself went through all of those 3 things, and I'm sure a handful of students, including some of our former classmates and friends at the time felt the same way, shape, form, of one kind or another.

In fifth grade I found out that my fourth grade teacher had died of cancer and as my principal was gathering her emotions to talk to the whole school when she saw my class and saw that we were in tears (the ones of her fourth grade class of 2022-2023 which included me and a few others) she couldn’t handle her emotions and cried while she was talking to us I had the honor to play a song to her on my clarinet with a few others at her funeral 😔
