Bro should be called the FumING Knight. Feels like the most pissed off boss in Souls.
ОтветитьDark Souls II had a lot of frustratingly simple boss fights, but this guy was the perfect Dark Souls boss experience for me. Suffer, learn, adjust, and then feel great when you finally beat him.
ОтветитьDark Souls II was my third souls game. I had played Bloodborne and Dark souls III before(maybe it was Sekiro, I know Bloodborne was first). I haven't beat Elden ring yet but many more times over in this game than any other souls game. DSII is my favorite though. It took the longest to beat but there's just something about it that I love. Good game and good times
Ответитьreally dislike dark souls 2
this guy is the exception, actually perfect boss fight
How did this guy lose a fight with velstadt
ОтветитьHis leggings remind me of Lorian's in DS3
Ответитьcouldn't get passed it. think i have that save file somewhere...
ОтветитьHot take: This fight was kinda easy
Ответить>shield 🤢
>one-handing 🤮
How tough am I? I beat fume knight with a fat roll build.
Yeah? So?
With Keyboard and Mouse Controls.
Right this way
Coming back to this video after years because that last hit is so legendary
ОтветитьI use the FUG in DS3. Total annihilation!
ОтветитьI beat him 5th try
ОтветитьOf all the Dark Souls 2 Bosses so far, this was the one that really stopped me for a long time, it took me about 3/4 hours to defeat him with the Chaos Blade
A great boss, who pissed me off to hell, ever since my experience with nameless king and kalameet
you almost died so many times.
ОтветитьThis is still one of the hardest bosses in all of soulsborne and he literally gives you half of his hp for free, imagine if he was in phase 2 from the beginning
ОтветитьJust beat DS II for the first time. It is safe to say that this guy was the strongest in the game for me.
ОтветитьI have a confession: So my friend gave me DS2 on Ps3 about 5 years ago, got me into the game, changed my life. Well, he had the DLC version. So I had beaten the game for maybe the 2nd or 3rd time, cause you know, you never truly get good until you've beaten it a few times, and he offers me his disk to play the DLC on. I accepted gracefully, but he warned me that the DLC was tougher than the main game, which is the easiest of the Souls anyways, and he told me his heroic story if grinding this legendary boss at Brume Tower, the Fume Knight, for several hours, and that I was in for some grief. Now, my first time through the game was rough. I beat the Last Giant no problem, pulled the fall trick on the dragon rider, but boy, The Lost Sinner KICKED my ass, OVER and OVER, to the point where after I realized I couldn't do anything else until I beat her, I had to change my entire archetype from strength to duel weilding with staff so I could do distance damage and basically cower the whole fight. But for my magic to work, I needed to light the room, which required the bastille key obtained AFTER you beat the fucking annoying gargoyles. Magic helped, but that was another 2-3 hours I'll never get back. Anyways, so after several hours of grinding to weild magic and getting the key, I finally beat that ugly bitch. Actually, I just remembered, it wasn't her, it was the fucking ruin sentinels. Yeah, they gave me HOURS of pain, and then I had to face her. Fucking cunts. Anyways, I was now overleveled, pretty heavily, so the rest of the game wasn't as hard for me as it should've been. The skill increase and levels from her made even the smelter demon, in my opinion the hardest boss in the base game, not as hard. I mean I WAS better, but still. Point being, I wasn't as good as I thought I was after beating the game, even though I took down some tough opponents like the ones I mentioned. So I thought I was the shit and played a new run and beat it with less problems than my first run, naturally. Unfortunately, I cheated. I exploited the bonfire ascetic loop with the giant memory battle, so I got SOOOO OP. So when I faced the fume knight, I was easily 20-30 levels over what I should've been. So it was a tough fight, and at that point I had just finished my 4th run, but it "only" took me like 10-15 tries to beat him, and I was happy, but knew I kinda cheated. Hell, I beat Dark Lurker on my first or second try. So yeah, that's the story with needless buildup of how I cheesed the Fume Knight. I'll have to go back and do it properly. After a while I was so good I could've definitely done it. I could beat the game in like 4 or 5 hours. I was actually bitchin, cause I'd just play the game over and over. Lost Sinner never gave me trouble after that. Praise the sun!
ОтветитьGreat fight, very tough. I would use less than one health bar on the first phase and get wrecked by the second. Gosh, I remember when I used to just "speedrun" the game in just a few hours, so fun. I got super good, but I didn't have the DLC so I only beat the DLC bosses when playing with my friend.
ОтветитьBy far the best boss in the DS Trilogy
ОтветитьI have to be honest, he's really decent. I personally like the delayed moves since that means punishing roll spamming, and his attacks are all about not being a greedy fuck.
HOWEVER, i will say he is overrated as fuck. The community's proclaimed hardest boss, which even i hyped myself up for, only to be disappointed on getting him to low health on first attempt while only dying because my greedy ass never learns.
If this boss appeared a bit earlier, it would be a good challenge considering his moves are pre-Dragon Aerie for me and he's a good teacher on telling you to TIME your moves, not spam them like a DS3 PvP player.
HARDEST SHIT EVER.
ОтветитьYes, i remember the day December 25,2021 when i tried to kill this boss and i died 56 times in that day :)
Ответитьbig rahmy
Ответитьfighting this guy and the samurai guy with the guts sword was fun
ОтветитьIts funny how this fight made me stop using the curved dragon sword and start using the broadsword for quick attacks and roll
ОтветитьThere was no chance for me to fight this dude. Had to summon a sunbro to help me, even if it doubles his health.
ОтветитьOne of the few actual bosses in Ds2.
Ответитьshall I be proud for beating fume knight on the 3rd try?
Ответитьwill at least he doesnt regenerate his health on hit...
unlike the rot bish ...
Who would win in a fight between Raime here, and Artorias?
ОтветитьIm so glad to beat him in just four tries...
ОтветитьI don't like how little time there's to dodge 🥲
ОтветитьThis unpredictable bastard..
ОтветитьYou can literally see that this fight was done with 99 ADP. He heals in 0,1 seconds..
ОтветитьMy friend who never player DS2 claims it's "Too slow". Sent him this.
ОтветитьIs it just me, or does anybody else think Margit was designed after this dude?
ОтветитьDs 2 mechanic makes this boss so hard.
ОтветитьI just killed him and he din't went to his second form, strange
ОтветитьLet's just say you did not deserve to beat this boss
ОтветитьThis guy will always be my favorite boss in the series. No other boss gives such an ominous and menacing vibe.
ОтветитьDude... I can't get past this guy. Level 110, purely strength build, using greatsword (I want to use big weapons all playthrough)
It's almost impossible. I've tried for almost a week now, an hour or more every day on this guy. No luck. Thing is, this dude is one of the few things I have left to do in the game, and I want to use his weapon with another to duel wield. Playing as a big sword man, this dude is a NIGHTMARE. I can get to his second phase 50/50 chance, but once I get there, it's hard.
EDIT: FOOKIN DID IT LETS GOO!!!! Man... I actually had fun lmao
Tough bastard
Ответитьthis guy killed me 101 times
ОтветитьHe’s pretty easy if you just camp his back
Ответитьthings I learned from this video:
-I'm not doing anything wrong
-My damage output is fine
-My rolls are better timed
-I just havet gotten lucky yet
