Am sorry, but a Top 10 list without Golden Axe or Final Fight is no list at all 😆
ОтветитьRampage 3-Person Automat. You can eat human and can destroy school-bus. Yeah, a wish come true. Booble Booble was from the best game all.
ОтветитьMarryo..lol
ОтветитьIf I hear anyone else pronounce Mario that way again I think I might just have an attack of some sort. "Mare-i-o" .. why man why.
ОтветитьRampage the movie is based on this game ?
ОтветитьGood list but where is Defender & Stargate, Tempest, Kung Fu, Skate or Die, Paperboy, Pole Position, Spyhunter
ОтветитьMary-O or Mario?
ОтветитьElf shot the food...
ОтветитьMy high school afternoons were spent in the arcade in Penn Station (NY) playing pinball or Ms. Pac-Man, Centipede, Millipede, Gyruss (the best music!), Galaga and Mappy Land. If I was broke, I'd watch other people play Dragon's Lair
ОтветитьI agree with your list but not how you say Mario
ОтветитьThree of my favorites were Wizard Of Wor, Front Line, and Spectre. Honorable mention goes to Asteroids and Tapper
ОтветитьNice video, but I feel International Karate should at least have gotten an honorable mention.
ОтветитьDragon's Lair, Tron, Bosconian, Crazy Climber, Tutankham, Rally-X, Gyrus, Phoenix, Battlezone, Scramble.
Those were my favorite ten. Honorable mentions to Tail Gunner, Discs of Tron, Jungle Hunt, Time Pilot, Xybots.
Wish I was a little kid during the dawn of video games. But at the same time I'm glad I was born when I was.
ОтветитьJumpman is Mario's father. Jumpman may have appeared in Donkey Kong but Mario first appeared in Mario Bros.
ОтветитьWhat is a “PAC” in PAC MAN
ОтветитьOkay I am curious if anyone else remembers this game it was a" pole position" type racing game that would go from landscape to landscape about every minute or so. It would go from racetrack to City to Hills to Oceanside,
Have a lot of nostalgia for that game and can't remember what it was called
1 pacman-Ms pacman
2 Joust (my personal fave)
3 Defender/Stargate
Mare-io? C’mon man…
ОтветитьWhy does he pronounce Mario mEhrio?!?
ОтветитьWow!! Hearing the music when Mario gets the sledgehammer in the original Donkey Kong reminds me of my first girlfriend. There was a game room in the roller rink where we met that had Donkey Kong, Centipede, Frogger, Crazy Climber, Space Invaders, Gorf, and Asteroids. The way the games were set left a small hiding spot where me and her would sneak in and make out. Such memories!!
Ответить"Merio"
ОтветитьAll time I would say it’s a tie between Space Invaders and Pac Man as the most well known. From my youth in the arcades add Defender, Scramble, Asteroids and Galaxians. Got the BBC Micro in 1982 and it had great ports of all of them. Games are somewhat different nowadays! 👍
ОтветитьM A Y R I O
ОтветитьBack when people used to smoke in arcades. Thinking back, very creepy places.
Ответить“Mehreeoh” ITS MARIO
ОтветитьCrystal Castles, Cliffhanger, Star Wars, Track & Field, Super Qix just to name a few… great time to be a teenager in the golden age of arcades!
ОтветитьAlf is nothing but a Qbert rip off!
ОтветитьPac-Man was the biggest game of the 80s. Ms Pac-,man was fun, but it was the orginal Pac-man game that was a cultural phenomenon and had the biggest impact on the industry. Plus I would have made room for Double Dragon as that spawned numerous copy cats. More honorable mentions should have wen to Karate Champ, Kung Fu Master and Jungle Hunt.
Ответитьsorry but you forgot POPEYE that wud be least #2
ОтветитьCentipede definitely needs a place in the top 10.
ОтветитьPac-Man Jr. 🤣🍺👻🇺🇸
ОтветитьI played the frogger arcade game for an hour with my dad recently on the actual arcade :D we had so much fun
ОтветитьGhost and goblins
ОтветитьI still remember being super exicted going to my local convenience store and playing either R-Type or Double dragon. Even tbough rampage came out in '86, I didn't start playing until the early 90s - one time at Waterton national park in southern Alberta. It was one ofy favorites.
ОтветитьIm gonna have to go with gauntlet, double dragon, road blasters, rygar, bubble bobble, dragons lair, black tiger, twin cobra, robotron and final fight.
ОтветитьThe original Pac Man should have been on this list (at least number two behind Ms Pac Man). It was the biggest game in the world.
ОтветитьElvis played in arcades
ОтветитьHow about Asteroids and Defender?
ОтветитьMs pac Man!
ОтветитьOkay why ain’t PAC-Man on this list 😢
ОтветитьWrong, he was given the name Mario in "Donkey Kong Jr." not "Mario Bros."
ОтветитьWho the F is Mayreo? It's Mario!!!!🙄
ОтветитьI could play Galaga forever.
ОтветитьShinobi, double dragon and WWF wrestlefest
Ответить84 to 89 renegade. commando, paperboy. 720 degrees, shinobi, roc n rage.wonderboy. superstars of wrestling. double dragon. street fighter, rainbow islands, etc etc. no nothing now just consoles takes fun out of going to chipshop, arcade or vtdeoshop
Ответитьbest double dragon or final ftght
ОтветитьPlease ALL, THINK, what is the best arcade game? It's the one you come over and over all the time!! So...Despite I like many of you choices, I would say Street Fighter II, , Pac-Man, Goldenaxe, Shinobi, space Harrier, I keep playing those not ALL THE TIME despite I like all the others a LOT!! YES Pac-man had finally been beaten by SFII because it was a 2 players game at it's best, I personnaly also love shinobi because despite it's age, it hasn't aged!!! I don't understand this it STILL hasn't been beaten concerning ennemy collisions!!
ОтветитьI disagree with the list. But I understand the difficulty in making 80’s Arcade list. The 80’s is packing full of great Arcade games. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьI see a lot of Rampage from a simple mispronunciation. Like how it is on the internet.
