ORANGE & LEGENDARY WEAPON FARM + WEAPON DUPING [Dead Island Definitive Edition]

If you play in the hardest arena and get super far in it legendary weapons start to drop

Hmm. I get white weapons from level 3 chests all the time. I have only found 1 legendary weapon in 140 hours of game play. Im fucking pissed. Because in the original xbox 360 game. Id find one legendary every campaign play through. Definitive edition seems to be completely broken.

Why not just use the storage dupe glitch for money and giving your friend the weapon?

I met a modder the other day and we were completing missions and every zombie he killed would have 600k cash on it so I got like 14mill now

I have gotten the signature weapons for all the characters except Purna. Tesla Gabriel's Sledgehammer for Sam B, High Voltage Tijuana Machete for Xian Mei (or Short-Circuit Zed's Demise), and an Exotic Double Blade for Logan. Finding the Defender of the Motherland for Purna has been hell. I dunno whether to farm chests, or hit the arenas and pray to God one of the zombies is discovered having one upon death.

I got ban and evicerator so far on that 5 hour trick the thing is those weapons are low leveled and does not deal that much damage

The ferry map during the zombie assult, do not help them , open all chests if it's yellow grab it, if not leave it and if you find a yellow after the other chests just load check point, skip other chests run to the Yello weapon one, open grab grenade kill yourself and as soon as you die just hit start and reload check point, this allows you to keep yellow place holder but cycle through different weapons

For the first hour, hour 1/2 I got 2 legendary so far (Assassin’s Greed and Viking of the south)

Since I can't find an answer anywhere figured I try here since you seem to know a lot of the inner workings of DI. I'm just curious as to why a purple heavy pistol I have is significantly stronger than a yellow one. Both same level, fully maxed, detox modded. Purple one was from the prison quest and the yellow from the prison vendor. The purple is like 1.5-2x the damage of the yellow.

If you have a modded auto gun,you can shoot that weapon,and when you shoot it,someone else take it and weapon will be duped.I know it works on Xbox 360

It's time based. If you have a wired controller and sit in the same spot for 5 hours (making sure the the game does not cause automatically by wrapping the wire around the controller thumb stick) every time you'll get a Legendary weapon.

Anybody trying to play on Xbox one I've found 12 legendary weapons so far still farming

Do you know how can you remove the locked chests ( locpick chests) after opening in definitive edition? to farm them solo?

I and without any boostov parny for Sam b knocked out in the laboratory with locked 2 levels and 3 locks friend bouncers, Viking from the south, defender of the Fatherland and mkoll 9 mm I knocked out in the location of the jungle near the plane I just played the game och many hours and stupidly ran through the chests without paying attention to the enemies almost)

Definitely won't cheat with the dupe, but the farming strategy itself is nice.
