Worked like a champ for me! Thank you.
ОтветитьSo the only time we open the H hose is when we vacuum? I couldnt see if you ever opened it, i saw the L was opened so allow it to charge.
ОтветитьAfter creating a vacuum, best to release some refrigerant into the system before doing anything else (like starting the car). You want to change from a low pressure (vacuum) to a high pressure (charge) sooner than later. Once you have some charge in the system, you can start the car and continue as you described.
ОтветитьYo I’m David wanting a hvac job 2021 diploma
ОтветитьPittsburgh my favorite brand HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS 😁😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьSo if I replaced my condenser fan could I do the fast recharge or the whole vacuum pump recharge
ОтветитьNow I overstand🤓
ОтветитьYOU SAID YOU VACUUMED EVERY THING, BUT THEN YOU WENT ON TO SAY THE REFRIGERANT DYE IS STILL INSIDE, MY QUESTION IS DOES IT NOT GET VACUUMED ?
ОтветитьThanks great job
ОтветитьGood morning! Sir I'm from the Philippines What is the set up when adding Oil to the compressor? Which gauge low/high hose to open? Is the Car engine still off) on when adding the oil?
Thank You!
God bless!
How do you release the pressure on both sides? And can you vacuum if it is pressurized?
ОтветитьThank you sir for the so clear and step by step tutorials...
ОтветитьI’m adding dye to the yellow line then the Freon, then purging the air. Wouldn’t that spray your dye out also? Now how would dye get in system if it was sprayed out?
ОтветитьVery helpful. Saved me a TON of money! Had to replace my condenser because of FORDS brilliant design that incorporates the Power Steering cooler. Followed your instructions and system is blowing 29* total cost for me was $225 parts & materials, instead of $1000 at Firestone 😮 took me 4hrs total. (Including replacing condenser)
ОтветитьMan! I was excited thinking you had gotten a Gen 2 Tacoma to do videos on. Then I looked at the date and seen it was 8 years ago 😢
ОтветитьHey Chris, I didn't see an explanation of how to handle the remaining can of r134a, but I concluded that you kept the tap on it in case of a later use. Great videos as always!!!
ОтветитьThis was so helpful. I've done just about everything as an avid DIY car guy, including rebuilding engines and transmissions, but when it comes to AC stuff, I just never ventured far because of the special tools you need (manifold gauges, vac pump) and the general workings of the system were never really clear. But now that I've taken the time to better understand it, and also in restoring my 02 Silverado which includes all brand new AC parts, including the lines, this video has been super helpful. I was so excited that my system perfectly held pressure and is 100% ready to accept freon.
ОтветитьWhere is the refrigerant that you draw out?
ОтветитьYou saved me about 1,000 dollars with this video
ОтветитьDoes drawing a vacuum not remove the oil that was pre-installed into the compressor? Just asking because i'm performing this work today and following along with your video. Thanks again!
