The Art of War is a book I pan to read every day. At least, I will watch this video. Thank you kindly for giving this old man quite the gift.

Haven't you learned exactly the lessons that have prevented every victor in history from pacifying the defeated parties ? Is your idea that you can attack, invade, humiliate and install puppet governments hostile to the people there and then just use the army to destroy any resistance ? Guess what ? It doesn't tend to work like that. Rebuilding a nation as you want COSTS you money. You cannot expect to gain anything like the Israeelis the US supports in the ME or the allies after WW1.

although this is a classic in history, i think everyone may benefit from "the art of peace". This is not a specific book but a practice that involves no deceit or treachery as a means of being the best at war. You can find true warrior teachings, such as those of the founder of AIKIDO...The only enemy is truly from within...unlike this historic peace...

give the total war games a shot they are pretty good

All they have to do in the school system now, is just use these audio books as homework, then when the students have listened and absorbed, the only assignments needed are just critical thinking and sum up what they believe they learned, lastly discuss in a group. Why did they not do this in school??? Orite, they are dumbing down America by using the hardest ways to teach us kids or your kids to learn. Only paying attention to the context of grammatical errors and alignments than substance. :\

Whole book contents around 5000 Chinese words, but it includes the most useful strategies in the world. Please review the Korean war and Vietnam war, those were truely evidence to prove Sun tzu strategies. Except nuclear weapon i couldn't find other ways to defeat Sun tzu strategies.

In order to have a complete victory,a country cannot simply attack,win the war against the military,then leave.She must first build that nation in a way that it will not wish to attack again,we failed to do this in WW1,and we are failing this again in Iraq and Afghanistan by wraping our troops in red tape and choosing to leave before the war is over. Trust me,as long as terrorist groups are still active in the Middle East,there wil still be war.
