Me whos spent 1600 cycles just getting on 3 asteroids on spaced out finally making them super livable and usable and looking to go to the next two I found.... We doing one rocket xD. Gonna be a pip wild tree farm to get a little starter base going as the next two have ZERO renewable sources for water or O2.....
It's a good thing I've got a ton of stuff to push into the next planetoids
Could still anyone tell me - can gas cargo canister actually provide oxygen for internal parts of the rocket during flight? If yes - how? Normal vent doesn't seems to work.
ОтветитьSomething troubles me. I tried "rocketry" recently and I was cautious after watching all those guides to create rooms like you do. But actually what the point ? The decor + food bonus is already insane, who cares about +2 or +1 for washroom/bedroom ? Great hall (+6) maybe ok but the others are completely pointless. Decor is too easy, some carpet tiles and it's already over. Am I missing something ? All this space with walll/door wasted. Food+Decor is something like 24 ! Moral need for rocket crew is something like 15. Carpet tile is also accessible pretty quickly and cheap.
Ответитьdrywall everywhere for decor bonus?
ОтветитьWho ever comes late: Orbital Data collection is now industrial building, so no longer room bonus for great hall. Build all tiles inside as carpet tiles for decor bonus. Above the table and above the telescope put a light. That way you get speed bonus for telescope and for the data collection but no debuff on sleep.
Ответитьi just started colonizing and i used the basic rocket now Ellie(dupe) is single handly managing her life there with no problem but i will need to send another dupe to make building eaisier i was looking for theese so i could send half of my construction army there so thanks it will help me tame 6 metal volcanos faster
ОтветитьFrancis John, i miss you playing oni :(
Ответитьhow can i build in the interiors? I placed all the things i needed, but the duplicants not building them, just wandering inside the ship, ignoring the work
ОтветитьI usualy do filter other way i filter oxygen not CO2
ОтветитьWhen will you be playing this again? They've added stuff to it!
ОтветитьLove the designs. Thank you!!!!!!
For the 3-dupe version, instead of designing/priming the ventilation loop to get rid of carbon dioxide, you could prime it for oxygen and put that line into the atmosuit docks. (ie. pull out oxygen instead of pulling out carbon dioxide). Once the suits are full, to prevent the oxygen-loop from backing up, the line (past the loop) could have the element detector & high-pressure vent combo used in the single-dupe setup to release the oxygen back into the cabin. Anything remaining in the pipe would therefore be an unwanted gas (CO2, Chlorine, Polluted Oxygen, etc...) and could be vented to space.
Also, to save on oxylite, I typically also add a pressure sensor and intake line that will pressurize the cabin using an O2 line from the base. I use a high-pressure vent and let it over-fill to ~3.5k (or the full 20k if I don't care about popped eardrums).
cool you can put as much as you want in these rockets in terms of materials.. just not stuff from the niobium planet lol
ОтветитьTruly, truly awesome lol
ОтветитьThank you for another great tutorial! Would it be possible to also make a tutorial on how to start building rockets? I'm new to the Spaced Out DLC and haven't been able to leave the starter asteroid yet.
ОтветитьNice tips. Personally I just slap stuff together, but space is kinda challenging.
Saw an earlier vid.
Never had the courage to go fully Rust Deoxidizer until I saw your base manage to avoid chlorination. Started using wild Dasha to scrub out the chlorine and it is surprisingly effective.
Another great tutorial... thanks! Do you do take requests for these by any chance? :)
ОтветитьNew Oni Series Please!
Ответить- Just very minor thing - you can go 0.1g with valve.
- For chlorine problem - let interior and docks fill with oxygen, then deconstruct one dock. All oxygen in storage of that dock will be released, cabin will be overpressured and you can easily build Hand Sanitizer without any leaks.
Pickled meal have 32 shelf life so it could be useful as well
ОтветитьWhy do we need tutorials for a game we don't play anymore. Get your arse into gear regarding Captain of Industry NAOIW!!!!
Ответитьgreat tut
Ответитьoh how I missed ONI, and Aku, and Randy... wait.
ОтветитьI've been waiting for this this!
ОтветитьMore ONI! More ONI! More ONI! 😍
ОтветитьI have so missed your ONI videos!!! Welcome back with them! Start a new world please!!
ОтветитьI love that you show what you can do in difficult playthroughs, would be great to see what you can do with a "near ideal" starting point and easy mode with the goal of building something impressive like your base lovin entries. Modded as much as you like just to see you have fun with a world.
ОтветитьWhy dont you filter the other way around? Mecanicaly filter oxygen only and everthing else gets pumped out? So you dont have to dead with bathroom accident off gasing, chlorine from hand sanitizer and dupes co2.
Ответитьpls do another one of oni play through i will watch all of them
ОтветитьFrancis, its amazing video!
I strongly suggest to use element sensor on the floor to detect CO2, connect it with buffer timer, with output delay 20 s. it will work only on stable layer of CO2 and only then when needed. and you also can filter out chlorine.
Last time I played ONI, I pumped in water about 5-10C and created a liquid loop to keep the water moving while it wasnt filling the toilet. I usually have the telescope and research module on the same ship so this really helps with the temperature over long periods.
ОтветитьRather than just "grounded" I find it's useful to add one of the star map location sensors(cant remember the correct name) and link that to the automation input of the rocket control station, that way you can make it so it's grounded, but only on your home base. Useful for the exploration rockets.
I wish atmo suit docks had the same control, then the docks could be disabled on the home planet too
Love the modularity of the early game interiors
ОтветитьPerfection 🤗
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьAnother great tutorial. Setting up the rockets is a bit of a challenge, but I guess you have to remember that there is lots of "extra" storage space if you know where to find it.
ОтветитьYYYEESSSS more oni !
Ответить1g is not the smallest amount you can do, you can type in 0.1 and drop it to 0.1g.. Doesn't really matter in this instance, but for other places you have a full pipe of the gas you're filtering, the filter will last 10x as long.
ОтветитьBuilder rocket - why not use the filter to filter oxygen and put it into suits and everything else to the outside? If for any reason you have eg. chlorine it'll damage the suit docs
ОтветитьHoli moli proffesionals, dont let the clorine into the pump?!? why dont you filter oxygen in the valve then?
ОтветитьI would have totally missed the kitchen menace being so good. Thanks
ОтветитьThanks for this!
For the chlorine problem: You could build the powerless gas filter on the oxygen side and then add a gas pipe element sensor and a high pressure gas vent on the waste pipe to recycle oxygen that doesn't go into the suit stations. That shouldn't involve too much extra stuff and it will make sure no chlorine makes it to the suits.
Amazing video! Quick question: I've never seen you use the design with the co2 crusher (door + gas element detector). It's really small. Is it because its a bit cheesy?
ОтветитьAh if only I played
Ответитьthe suit station doesn't count as a industrial machinery so if you can hide the pump you probably can fit a GreatHall
ОтветитьNice tutorial but anybody who hasn't watched your playthrough might be confused as to why you can't vent gases on a water planet, use the coal/solar for power, etc. There were several warnings about water planets specifically. If you aren't having those problems you're probably doing something silly like keeping your rocket in vacuum instead of landing at the bottom of the ocean.
ОтветитьPrior to building your hand wash station, why don't you pre fill the capsule with 2kg of oxygen per tile? That prevents the bleach stone from off gasing chlorine. It takes a little bit of infrastructure but is a lot less hassle than trying to clean up the chlorine gas.
ОтветитьBravo! What an excellent tutorial!
