Hopefully this mod will be compatible with the Return of the Ancients mod whenever it comes out. Imagine getting two new separate questlines and having them available in tandem with the base game. It would truly be the ultimate Subnautica experience!

ive always played mods with vortex so ill have to learn how to add mods manually without vortex

arent resources limited? i.e. there is a fixed number of ore chunks in the game ... which means you shouldnt grind them all down into alterra bitcoins since then u cant build the 'traditional' stuff anymore

Tbh if it works like u said there are soo many flaws that goes completely against the main game and just generally isn't good I wouldn't get that dlc/mod I mean a drone coming in alone is just completed against the story as it would have easily gotten shot down with the cannon

i am actually not a fan of FCStudios' mods. they complicate the gameplay making it a chore rather than fun and ruin the experience, not to mention they don't match the style of the game. the whole point of Subnautica is to explore, not to make money and become a solo corporation on the planet. don't get me wrong, i'm all for mods for consecutive playthroughs no matter the game, i use a bunch myself, but they need to add to the gameplay, not take things away from it. and FCStudios mods... uuff... they take away the heart of Subnautica.

on another note, no wonder i'm not subscribed to you. titles of your videos are more exciting than actual videos. i knew there was no DLC because i follow Subnautica, but i wanted to see what mod you were referring to and, as always, was disappointed at the content. drop the misleading titles, drop the exaggerated reactions and just deliver the updates and news about our beloved game like a grownup, like IGP used to.

Anth.. the surfer was 160 per min.. the one that followed the sun was 12 per second. 12 x 60 is 720 every minute.. the one that followed the sun was more efficient.. though, if the water surfer can have a maximum of, say, 8, surrounding every side. thats 1280. which would be more efficient than spending material to build your own platforms, to build your own solar panels.

In the long run, it'd be more efficient to spend the materials to make the dynamic solar panels, since they produce more [but stop at night], it'd best cost effective and long term effective to use the water surfer ue to it not relying on day/night. both have ups and downs.

Solar- Higher power output, Negated at Night
Surfer- Lower power output, Unbothered by Day/Night cycle
