My steam games wont start with the GPU. Any solution except that prime command?
Ответитьhave you encountered the black screen issue on EndeavourOS?
ОтветитьEndeavorOS is a simple “just works” distro. I highly recommend. Coming from a user of Linux for over a decade.
Ответитьwill you be doing fedora based next? fedora vs nobara vs bazzite desktop version?
ОтветитьNIXOS rocks
ОтветитьVery good video
ОтветитьAnother thing that Garuda does well is configure a few nice-to-haves out of the box.
Things like BTRFS with snapshots, ZRAM compression, zen-kernels.
All things that I wouldn't set up myself but which I do benefit from.
I have neither the inclination or the knowledge to spend hours troubleshooting problems while trying to play games on Linux. The best solution for me was to get a Beelink SER5 Mini PC. I set it behind my tv, plugged it in, and have Windows 11. After turning off a few settings, I loaded up my Steam games. All the games played as they were intended, with no special settings or other programs. When I get done gaming, I just switch my tv input back to my Linux computer for everything else. Works perfect, and I have lots more gaming time.
I still enjoy watching your process to get games working on Linux though.
What about CachyOS with their custom kernel?
ОтветитьTrying new things to get something to work is usually one of the great joys of Linux. :-)
