My Aurelia deck only ran HotH and Sword of F&F, everything else was ways to find them or Kiki-Jiki type combos since I planned on everyone responding to Aurelia herself.

Some games I’d lead with the Kiki-combos and others would lead with Aurelia, but the deck would explode out of nowhere if people thought I was out of steam 😂

Sword doesn’t work cause if you blink her you’d have to re-equip to infinite.

I think Aurelia was the first commander I tried to build a few years ago but my tiny brain couldn't comprehend a 6-mana commander then, so I ended up looking elsewhere. Then some time passed and the first Boros deck I actually finished was a Zabaz the Glimmerwasp Modular +1/+1 counter bullshit deck that's ten times more complicated to play on Untap than it would be in person. Might revisit Aurelia after seeing this video though, def sounds fun after hearing some of the strategy explained.

Personally I like to secret commander Krenko in my Aurelia deck. Helps distract from the real threats.

This probably feels like absolutely cheating the first time. Then the Timmy who feels cheated by Aurelia happens to have Counterspell or Murder in hand when she's played, and suddenly 6 mana to maybe win with a 5 mana equipment doesn't seem so broken
