I was thinking how can a 7-year-old video quality be so high but then I realized this video is only from 2016.
ОтветитьHow long do the bearings last?
ОтветитьAmazing. I was cracking my head trying to engineer a lathe w stuff I had at home thinking it can't be that difficult... I was planning it w a bench wheel grinder but this is quite a bit simpler plus as stated here, variable speed is a big plus
ОтветитьThis is kind of genius. I have all the parts…used to own a skate board shop. I’m going to play with it.
ОтветитьI'm going to build this. The tail stock and tool bar I want to move thru grooves with cam lever clamps to secure them instead of screws.
ОтветитьThis is fricken genius, thank you.
ОтветитьA video on fixing bearings into wood will make things easier . Just Like in this video but a detailed one for only bearings and shaft fixing
ОтветитьNice job! I'm going to use head and tail you used. I hope I can make them as good as you did here.
Some safety advice here, use a mounted wood block with bolt for your drill trigger (adjustable speed control), and an outlet box with a plug and switch (quick power disconnect).
Good job
ОтветитьThe tangs I used to turn over to the front broke off. Any advice?
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьDamit this is taking me longer than 10 minutes 😫 😩 😭
ОтветитьA real clean solution with the skateboard bearings. Thanx!
ОтветитьAwesome thank you
ОтветитьThis video was on target for me because I have an old "screw gun" just looking for use. Excellent presentation, but lose the music please.
ОтветитьIm going to make a modified version of this to accomodate a mandrel for pen making. Really cool idea that im going to pursue.
ОтветитьHyvä video.
ОтветитьThank you for showing people how to do this you’ve just saved me an insane amount of money to get started on one of the crafts I’m super interested in jumping into!!!
ОтветитьGreat rough and ready build, thanks for sharing. *tip for the drill wrap: Instead of Velcro strap,
what about using a hose clip with a thumb screw to adjust the pressure on the trigger ?
Izzy as always ,I tend to overthink alot 🙄, amazing
ОтветитьI like all of your works 👏👏👏
ОтветитьDo you have to use something like poplar because of strength or can I use any wood available
ОтветитьPlease turn down that music!!
ОтветитьMashaallah khub valo video.....
ОтветитьDUDE!!!
exactly what I need, you are the bomb!
Great idea 💡 👍 👏 👌 😀
ОтветитьGood job
ОтветитьHey Izzy. This really great. My main issue is I cannot get the t-nut teeth to turn over. They snap off. Any suggestions?
ОтветитьAwesome I’m gonna try this out myself
ОтветитьThat guitar tone isn't taking any prisoners.
ОтветитьI've watched too man videos on quick diy wood lathes, this one is by far the best one I've seen, I'm definitely building this one, THANK YOU Izzy
Ответитьgreat 👏🏻
ОтветитьNice job izzy
ОтветитьI love it. How to make a mini lathe in 10 minutes....In a six minute video! Dude you're my hero!
ОтветитьGreat idea
ОтветитьYou have a wonderful sense of making a great instructional video!
ОтветитьSuper idea
ОтветитьExcellent, simple and easy to build !!! Thank you !!!
ОтветитьThat's brilliant i'm going to try it... after I try the 10 million other ideas I have up my sleeve - no seriously I will - I love it!
ОтветитьWhat speed would u say on yr drill. Half way?
ОтветитьI wanted to make a lathe for so long, now I can make one. Thanks izzy
Ответить⚘❤♥️♥️
ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant! Do you think this would turn light aluminum? If it would I have an idea haha
ОтветитьI could use this when making handles for my knives
ОтветитьSimple but great idea 💡!
ОтветитьVery simple yet effective i like the wood chiseled idea
ОтветитьMake a lathe in 10 minutes:
Not even a minute into the video: let that set for afew hours
5/16 inch? Oh NO!!! I have only 8 mm bolts, t-nuts and bearings!!
Luckily the converter could tell me 5/16 inch = 7,9375 mm !! :D
