I tried to do it , I think i have installed XAMPP, an Apache web server on in my computer. The file directories are also ok. But when i try to run it ..i see the 'load' button only, after clicking on the load button i do not get any display from the page.html file. Can anybody suggest anything to solve this problem. Thanks.

Great Tutorials remember to have XAMPP with the ajax tutorials. If you don' know what it is or how to use it just look up PHP Tutorials 1-4 from thenewboston and you'll be ok.

So, can I put something Else than 'data' in function(data)? I want to generate multiple (two) sets of text (from database) in the .php-file and show it in different content-holders to be able to manipulate them localy with javascript. I'm trying to avoid $_SESSION. Do I need to run multiple ajax-requests at one event?

To get this working in Chrome, you will need to install XAMPP, an Apache web server on your computer. This is what Alex is using in these videos.
