ОтветитьScooting into my seat vs backwards has helped me a lot. And I keep a slight lean back. With my core and lower back engaged to keep me there. And I bring the bar to my chest. Squeezing like you’re trying to bend the bar with your grip on each side. And ACTIVATION ENSUED 😂🔥🔥🔥😩

ОтветитьI think these tips are absolutely wrong. As I was trying different things with my lap pull down I decided to pull down on the bar and keep it a little further away from my chest. By doing that it activated so much of my back.

ОтветитьFor about a couple months I'd use my biceps for pulling the bar down. I thought my arms were a limiting factor and eventually it'll target my lats.
Later on I learnt that that is dumb and you're meant to pull the weight down by moving your elbows down and not scrunching down your arms.

ОтветитьIn Lat pull downs, focus on pulling with the inside part of your elbow. When you do that, your lats will get activated automatically

ОтветитьSecond one is NOT a mistake . Elbow out for upper back , elbow in for lats . Or just do elbow out and lats will still be activated (ur back is one piece its not like if u flare elbows out there will be zero lat activation lol)
