Dude!!! Thank you so much for this video!
ОтветитьI have that problem in my 2005 Acura rsx, I only hear the whine when I accelerate and then it goes away
ОтветитьThat’s is exactly how my 1 series sounds, I’m gonna give this a go. 👍🏻
Ответитьi have Toyota hatchback two door 2007 yaris
ran over 265 000 kilo meters
i changed alternator in feb this year (not from dealership but from a mechanic) but when i start car, the alternator makes a whistling sound for some time in beginning and after some minutes (10-15) it stops but again if i start after 5-6 hours, again it makes whistling sounds.
what do you think can be the reason?
is it the belt or the alternator or the barrels or i need transmission oil change?
Had the same whining noise 2006 Tacoma. Removed the serpentine belt, noise went away. Spun the various pulleys by hand and found that the bearings on the idler pulley were shot. New idler pulley - Problem Fixed! Yes! Thank you for the video!
Ответитьwhat was the problem with this truck? mine sounds just like this.
ОтветитьIs there another way to check for whine? I have a whine that follows rpms especially in low gear or park. Is this more likely transmission related?
ОтветитьIt's a chevy thing
ОтветитьTwo brand new alternators and they both do the same thing. Remove the exciter wire and the noise goes away.. It is maddening.
ОтветитьI got the same whine but the alternator is still charging and operating. Can it still be the alternator bearings or the alternator itself?
ОтветитьI have the same exact whine from my alternator. Did you figure it out? I dont think its a bad bearing. Maybe a bad diode or even voltage regulator.
ОтветитьThank you!
