I had no idea Anjar has so much beautiful natural scenery. What a great episode to have on International Day For Biodiversity on May 22nd. This year 2021 the UN theme is “We’re part of the solution”. The slogan means that biodiversity remains the answer to several sustainable development challenges. What a surprise to find an Eco Park with a forest perfect for hiking or walking including bat caves to explore for daredevils. I knew there are Roman ruins in Anjar, but did not know about the diverse natural landscape available there. Thanks Drs. Anthony & Marc for showing us what Anjar can offer to visitors. Another thanks for USAID for supporting such eco-sustainable projects 😍

Since Anjar was revived by Armenian refugees from Mousa Ler rescued by French army to Port Said and eventually to Anjar, I believe on the plaque there should be an identification in Armenian as well.

My family is from this village 🥰 thank you for sharing my culture with the world ♥️

عنجر بجنن .. طبيعة حلوة وزرتها مرتين واكلت السمك وحمص باللحم وغيرهاوغيرها وزرت الكنائس والقلعة والمتنزه وكمان وصلت تلة بيت الوالي ووصلت حافة الجبل

شكراً دكتور بصراحه مع احترامي لوزاره السياحه فلم تقدم %1 من ما قدمته انت عرفتنا عن كل شي في لبنان.. والله اجمل ضيعه في احلى بلد في العالم بصراحه شي مذهل منطقه جميله وطبيعيه واهلها مثقفين وعندهم حب وانتماء للارض والطبيعه واهتمامهم بالمحافظه على البيئه ,,تحيه لكم من صحراء نجد نحبكم والله وربي يحميكم وان شاء الله تعود لبنان باريس الشرق كما كانت ..احترامي
