I really wish they had made it more evident that this was midas' plan, perhaps the device turns to gold mid-event, or when you're in the office, you play as him rather than your skin. Would have added some more coherence to his character.

This is the first season and event I ever was part of, so it blew me away even more than most people on how good it was

I got disconnected in the middle of this event

This was one of the best events in the games history, no doubt. One of the few I’ve actually been able to see live. It was so cool!

Only event I've been to because on all other ones my game crashed. It was amazing. Hands down for Midas for having balls trying to free us from the loop. No other character pulled something like this off since him.

In my opinion, the best season in the history of the game

Rewatching this event really made me realize just how much potential the fortnite storyline had, with the whole "escaping the loop" thing. Now we have Goku running around hitting the griddy on batman or some other random ass character. what the hell happened lmao

Tbh, I woke up and got my iPhone 6s Plus running this game to play this event, best season of all time tbh, I absolutely loved this season and I wish I could go back tbh, it was amazing and I want to play it again. It was perfect everything was perfect I could play this for 6 months again honestly. If anyone asks me what my fav season was I’ll say Chapter 2 Season 2

I was watching this event when it happened and I was mad cuz my game crashed right in the middle of it so I had to watch it in my brothers account

it was after this event and all before that the game started becoming copy and paste, really boring, and i just appreciate the music and sound design in every event before this.

Why did they just never bring Midas up ever again

3 years ago, we sorta had to start saying goodbye to probably the best season in the chapter, if not, the game. It was a fun few days we had in the flood. Rest well. You were my favorite comfort during the pandemic

It's almost been 3 years since this event.

This is what truly sent fortnite's story into overdrive. Giving us our first look at the Imagined Order, and what lies beyond the island. All while ending a story of one of the greatest seasons. Midas' plan may be over, but it truly left a mark on fortnite's story forever.

This event feels like a point of transition between the no-dialogue events of Chapter 1 and the more story-focused events like Skyfire and Flipped.

I just imagine Midas shitting himself in the process
