The room is 500 baht but the woman is not free regardless of the relationship status. Companionship and sex are commodities!This is true anywhere in the world, not just Thailand. If she is a part time (vacation) girlfriend, she will want between 1000 baht ($30 US) and 2000 baht ($60 US plus expenses per night depending on her youth and beauty. She will not cook, clean or do laundry. A Live in girlfriend will want an allowance between 15k (450 USD) and 30 k (900 USD) per month plus man pays the rent, utilities, food. Woman pays for her personal expenses - phone, makeup, clothes etc. she would expect occasional gifts as any women in a 24/7 relationship would. Most will cook, clean and do laundry willingly The younger the woman, the less likely they will be willing to do the chores. The amount required for allowance could be higher with a very young, very attractive woman who might demand 2 or 3 times the amounts mentioned. The older the woman, in my experience, the LESS likely they are scamming for money. It’s not 100% because there are scammers of every age.
