Entire Halo Story in 3 Minutes (Halo Animation)

Honestly I'd love to see a Halo game based in the old universe before the Halo array was fired, like ancient humans, forerunners and so one

I recently got into Halo and all the explanations are 10+ minutes long, but this one explains it perfectly in such small time.

So... Halo destroys everything that lives. Flood lives. So it should be destoyed. Yet the Halo is used for the 2nd time to destroy "remaining flood"? How it survived in the first place?

Now THIS is a harder storyline to explain in 3 minutes than the fnaf one 😂

Very complicated story. This is why I hate sequels sometimes that make the stories or philosophies too complex.

It was better when humans were descendants of Forerunners. Forerunners ruled the world, but the Flood, unknown species, just came out of nowhere and wiped them all out. However, Earth was too far away to be included into the halo rings.

But all of this precursor, forerunner, human ancient stuff, blah blah blah, it is too much.

Always good to see a lore recap video that properly explains the main events of the Forerunner Saga. The Forerunner-Flood war was all-encompassing and nothing in the Halo games could be explained without it as context

i played Halo 1 & 2 (from the Master Chief collection) and I still have no idea what Halo is all about. The story in the cutscenes are just too complicated. Basically, when I play Halo, I disregard the story and go pew pew pew lol

Try to explain the basic backstory to Halo to my wife. This video help-ish. Lol she still asked a bunch of questions lol

forerunners: genocide the precursores, the creators of reallity, because they took their stick of responsibility or some bullshit. thus they are responsible for the flood.

forerunners: wages war against humans because they destroy their planets, despite humans doing it to prevent flood spread.

forerunners: brag about how they are much more powerfull despite humanity being 80%defeated by the flood.

forerunners: got 99.9999999% exctinct because of flood attacks.

The flood is pretty much the most powerful thing ever since they pretty much killed the forerunners fair and square and I still don’t get why people didn’t make flood clans

Where are forerunners then? Didn't forerunners save their own DNA?

One slight misunderstanding: The prophets did continue to believe in the Great Journey and the divinity of the Forerunners. The reason humanity posed a problem is that, if they were related to the Forerunners, then that means they did not go along the Great Journey, but were instead left behind while the Forerunners ascended to godhood. And that's a problem, because the whole promise of their faith was that EVERYONE gets to go. SO if people started figuring out that they might get left behind while the rest of the Covenant went on the Journey, it would be chaos.

This reminds me of the South Park Scientology explanation.

Wow this summed it up nicely! I've only ever finished Halo 3 (missed out on the first two) and only played a bit of reach and 4. I have them all but have no time to play, so I really appreciate you making such a quick, yet informative and effective video explaining what I'm missing.

this history is wrong, precursors didnt transformed in flood, they were accidentally created by forerruners using the compositor
