git config --global credential.helper store

ОтветитьThe only thing I had to do different was use: "git config credential.helper wincred" -- for my WIN10 laptop. Otherwise I got a UNIX error. Everything else worked like a charm! Thank you!

Ответить@Ed, I wonder if this could be configured into a more targeted git config? I currently use a git config with a structured [includeif.....] statements at the top. Those in turn monitor what directory I am working in and then use a targeted "sub" config for that particular contract/client. I do like the idea that you can kill the cache along with the token inside anytime a person wants.
