Tbh it bugs me so much that it is not addressed how Fischl's "roleplaying" sometimes borderline delusional. Fischl's persona was created because Amy felt lonely. She couldn't find herself any friends and struggled to integrate into society and just kept pretending this character from a book. Whole Fischl's character is literally "pretend to be someone else and only then you will find yourself friends". Not only that, but she is forcing others to play along with her.
I wish we had a hangout quest with her where she could realise that Amy is an interesting person as much as Fischl, we could explore her passion for books, etc. She's one of the best characters in the game with nearly unlimited potential for growing into something even more. I know I'm asking for too much from HoYo, but still
