Hi, as Swiss citizen I know that there are very few people (especially farmers) who eat dogs, some cat’s and occasionally a Hedgehog. But it’s really rare. So the some hundert thousands are going down a few thousands at most..

No Nigerian that I know of eats dog meat.

Well in India we ask before refilling someone's plate. We won't serve you more without permission and actually, if you leave food on your plate, it will be seen as you showing off your privilege to eat which many poor Indians can't afford 3 times a day. It is to the point that restaurants have boards saying they will charge you 15% extra if you waste any food and tell you to be mindful of what you order. So idk where the owner got this info, but do clean you plate in India. If you are full, just don't say yes when they ask if you want more and or or say that you are full

Well, making sounds while eating is extremely rude in China especially in the north. My grandparents would hit me in the hands if I made sounds during a meal. Confucius literally said '食不言，寝不语.' which means one should not speak during meals or laying down on the bed.
