Could you tell me what number of rubber bands you are using and the rim? Thanks
ОтветитьDam this music is too loud
ОтветитьExcellent work!! Thank you so much!! This video taught me so much!!!!
ОтветитьThe background music is so loud I can barely understand some of what you guys are saying at the end of the video.
ОтветитьFound a pair of ifp for my rig used for 600$ but they look oxidized. Worth it?
ОтветитьTest iranman pro cell foam
ОтветитьWas that a modelo can😂
ОтветитьDo you guys have any experience with the “factory” Toyota Trd 2 inch lift that the dealership offers?
ОтветитьHooray! Didn't make a total mistake getting these used and rebuilding them lol.
Fwiw, add Apache Offroad AX2s to budget setups? Dobis, Apache, Ironman, OEM variants (Tundra on Taco etc, Bilstein, Freedom OffRoad, Rough Country, used TRD Pro etc
Anyone have the link to buy these shocks?
ОтветитьWhat wheels are those?
ОтветитьThanks for doing this guys. Subbed
ОтветитьFox and Bilstein also have offset shaft mounts in their line.
ОтветитьBILSTEIN 8112....PLEASE!!!😊
ОтветитьWhat handles better on road, the factor shocks or Fox, or something else?
ОтветитьI wish I had this series a couple years ago when i was lookin everywhere for reviews, knowing i didnt need the best of the best to get by for my taco. Went with the Icon stage 3 for the easy complete install and havent looked back. I would def recommend them, thanks for the vid.
Ответитьwhat is that wheel and tire set up?
ОтветитьI’m looking to upgrading the suspension on mine. Does anyone know the specific icon shocks they’re using?
ОтветитьWhat radio mount is that?
ОтветитьThe music is TOO LOUD when they are in the garage towards the end of the video. It's distracting when they are describing the stocks. You can barely hear Braeden over the music. 🤷🏽♂️
ОтветитьI’m by no means an authority on the subject but after you install a new set of shocks shouldn’t you do a wheel alignment? Or is it only if you change the UCA? If so aren’t these results a little skewed? Just asking for a friend 😊
ОтветитьPlease do it again but with entry level shocks like ome, dobinsons, ironman, rough country, Bilstein 5000
ОтветитьLove the videos but the music is super distracting
ОтветитьMy rock crawlers have had 5100s on them. When they said if all you are doing is crawling 3mph buy the cheapest shocks it's really so true.
ОтветитьSweet!
Staying tuned
🙋🏼
Love this series! I hope Y'all can keep expanding on these and add the Dobinsons MRR and maybe the Bilstein 8112 which doesn't get much attention.
Ответитьneed to round up the whole series in and easy to review format 1-10 scale and rank them all according to your blind tests. Would be way more helpful than the drawn out series. or at least do this when you are done please thanks
ОтветитьGotta test some ADS next, I threw some of their bypasses in as secondaries in the front of my 4runner. Running fox bypasses in the rear and fox coilovers up front, I've pulled those foxes apart and revalved them a few times though. Once you start taking shocks apart and tuning them yourself i feel like it really comes down to what you can find parts for the easiest. Also what are the people you tune with running and know how to tune.
ОтветитьMy Bilstein 5100s have a really tight jitter at speed on anything other than smooth pavement, but they handle decently, especially with tight cornering, they're competent in the sandhills, and my wife hates them so she stopped driving my truck all the time (she loved the stock Hitachi shocks for grocery runs..)
ОтветитьI think your levels on the music are too high to the point that it's getting in the way of the guys talking. There were several points in the video where I couldn't hear key points being made and had to go back and turn captions on.
ОтветитьHow would these compare to bilstein 6112s ?
ОтветитьWould love to see this repeated with 2.0s. I have heard the foxes run soft in 2.0 compared to other brands (Im looking at f150s). But this has been super informative, I looked at the fox 2.5 but do not want stiff shocks for dirt road riding
ОтветитьYou will have to run them all again but with the vehicle fully loaded “overlander style”.
Ответитьafter these tests, it would be cool to see if the adjuster knobs really make a difference or not
ОтветитьGreat content guys! 10/10
ОтветитьWhat size were your tires during all these tests? I am curious if you guys got any rubbing with any of the different shock variants with whatever size tire you were using.
ОтветитьThis was a really good one, i had no idea these were IFP shocks! For the price i was very impressed with them.
ОтветитьWill the 6112s be included ?
ОтветитьSo when you add preload to the front to raise say 2inch... i need to change the spring rate to balance the valving of stock tune? Do i go more or less ?
ОтветитьLoving the videos. Thank y’all
ОтветитьReally wishing I had seen this video before dropping almost $5k on Fox 2.5s and Deavers on my Tacoma hahahaha. I can attest to the harsh small bump sensitivity on the Fox
ОтветитьSaving the best for last?!…
ОтветитьWhat are the spring rates of each?
ОтветитьWhat size tires are on the test Tacoma?
ОтветитьWhat tire pressure are you running for the test?
ОтветитьI have icons 2.5 stage 3 on my tacoma and I love them there pretty sweet
ОтветитьI went Icon Stage 9 primarily because it was a complete (brainless) solution w/leafs and UCAs. I’ve been so pleased with it I wouldn’t change it for any price. Firm it up when loaded and on road. Soften it up at air down and hitting dirt. Makes my heavy taco ride like a dream. Love this series - keep it up.
ОтветитьThanks for putting this together. Stock rear leafs?
