How you got freaking 188 fps while i have the same card and cpu and get about 60fps 😢

its crazy how much fps you get on 1080p than 1440p, but then you get more with msaa completely off with advanced settings on with 1080p? is there a bottleneck or is it lacking support, or is it just the GPU? gta5 performance has almost always confused me at times. must be its age even?

i have the same fps with my ryzen 5 5600x and msi rx 6800xt gaming x trio. i am overlocked my gpu to 2600hz and it is working 70° at most. This card is beast. It is fucking every game.

How tf are you getting that fps, I got the same card overclocked to 2600hz yet at 1440p 8mssa all max settings im pulling 40-60fps. Tf is goin on here?

I’m quite disappointed at 1080p . My GTX 1080ti Sea Hawk X gets 130fps max on ultra ( everything at max ) even density

Hmmm not impressed with the 1440p maxed out performance. Seems like with the same settings on a 5.1Ghz 9900k/Gaming Z Trio OC'd 2080Ti I get more fps.

So you get the same fps at 4K as I do with my 3600x and same 6800XT.. Skipping this one.

Hello I wanted to ask why am I getting 40-50 fps with the same settings only when I'm driving off road (specs: i7 11700kf rx 6700xt 16gb 3200mhz ram)

1440p with that stuff turned off was the sweet spot for my eyes.

To those commenting about the performance issues, I fixed all issues on my 6800xt by disabling freesync and turning off all radeon settings performance aids like radeon antilag and radeon boost.

You should be getting getting better than that

i have a 6800xt and this game runs like hot garbage. Ive messed around with settings and it always just carrys on running like shit. Guess AMD Drivers are just as shit as nvidias now.

I have an R5 5600x with XFX Rx 6800xt and a 16gb ram 3600mhz im playing gta 5 on 4k but sometimes it only uses 30-40% on gpu and gives u 30fps.Vsync is on

could you test gta5 online 27-30 player loby on 4k 1440 and 1080 and ofc msaa off and advanced settings of and gras to normal and test it also in midle of the city and like the airport and beach

To anyone who has/ is getting one and is wondering about 6800xt performance issues, you can see it in this video. The core clocks and the GPU usage can fluctuate wildly. It happens on a lot of dx11 and lower games, even worse on "less demanding" games. AMD needs to add a feature like Nvidia where you can "prefer maximum performance" at all times, to stop the utilization from dropping. Apparently it was also a bug on the 5700xt and never got fixed. Let's hope it is fixed in a driver update .

I have cpu 3600 and aorus 6800xt but on msaa off and advenced off I only get 90FPS at 1440p 144Hz

I think something is wrong with your card i get at 1080p ultra MSAA 8x in story mode 150-167 fps and in online 110-115 fps and i have the non xt version

I have problems with single stutters. Do you have any ideas why.? New PC 6900xt plus 5900x. Temperature is fine. Sometimes is a single stutter then it jumps back over 140 FPS

Isn't 8x MSAA a bit excessive? Wouldn't 4x be sufficient to squash the jaggies?

Please somebody help me: I have 6800xt (reference), Ryzen 5 5600x and 32gb (16x2) ram 3200mhz (CL16); and I'm only getting 30fps average with all settings on ultra, including grass, and msaa x8. What could I be doing wrong? GPU, CPU and RAM are all OC. If I turn msaa off, I can only get around 60-70fps

I guess after another 5 years we will have gpu that will run 8x msaa + all ultra on this game

The first video card in the world which can run GTA 5 on full HD with 60 fps on max preset my congratulations the hardest test for GPU has been completed :D

This shows you how advanced the 1080TI is still a beast of a card. I have on 1080p 70-130fps with 8x msaa. Used MSI Burner to give it that extra 10% boost.

I think 4x msaa is enough cause 1440p doesn’t need 8x msaa. Grass on ultra is fps killer and the only detail is the shades on ultra grass. I recommend you to use very high grass only and 4x msaa is completely enough

This test is invalid though. In some scenes you are running through grass which tanks the framerate on any GPU. Perhaps try the GTA Benchmark please.

Awesome performance, this GPU is father than I thought and I'm not even sure if 3080 was as fast in this game.
