After 2 years. And you wanted to make a video to see if you can fix it. Could be no charge.
ОтветитьFirst off.. i know absolutely nothing about this stuff other than what I watch on other channels... But everytime I watch you do something im thinking nope, you're messing it all up... Then you kick me right in the teeth and say FU!!! Amazing job brother!!!
ОтветитьThis is impressive. I admire your dedication, both to the repair itself and to the old job.
Ответить100% thumb UP for the try. But you use some wrong techniques to repair these traces. That why one part work and other don`t. Half working charger is better than nothing.
ОтветитьHey Joey, since you had the anchor holes clear of solder, wouldn't it be better placing the port on then applying hot air (or a mixed method) so there's little to no chance of disturbing the jumper wires? Just my idea. None the less, solid repair. Been interesting watching your skills develop as they seemed similar to mine. However I doubt I could pull off that clean grinding pen action. Smooth.
ОтветитьThat defines the skills of your bosses repairs. This can always be repaired😅
ОтветитьI just recently bought a Joblot of Nintendo Switch Lites. Managed to make 2 Working Switch Lites. and had a Working Switch Lite motherboard but with ripped traces. I’m not sure whether to send it in for a Repair or to Repair it myself.
ОтветитьIt doesn't matter how it looks like ;), it matters if it's working and is it robust. :D If you'd seen some of my videos where I've caused the damage, or other caused and had to repair it, your one is a dream to have :D to work with.
And, I still can't get use to those trace repair packs which are flat on the surface. Each time I try, I end up like you with a wire ;). But, hey, still works and no one came back with complains :D.
New subscribe bro
ОтветитьCould you do a cheeky vcc crossover to force a connection between the dead side and working one? Anyway, good effort
ОтветитьI'd be shaking so bad it would look like a blender had rocks in it holding those tweezers.
ОтветитьJoey you have the patience of a saint doing they trace repairs all I can say is if it were me trying tht I'd be holding the Guinness world record on how far a switch board can be thrown from a window, Lol.
ОтветитьI did trace repair on a switch just like this. Looked perfect. Could only get it to charge one side as well. Did it three times. The back row can be tricky with this many pads and wire. Had better success using lugs but I hate using those.
ОтветитьLook how far you have become! Very very good job! I would recommend some copper Tape for rebuilding the pads. You can cut them to size, secure them with some solder mask and I think it would make your life easier.
ОтветитьSuperb jom man. Class A. Can I recommend you some pad strips? They come in a variety of shape and sizes even round pads for BGA.
ОтветитьJoey why don’t you use padstripes? They are way better than 0,1mm wire, easier to run and to solder
ОтветитьYou have infinite patience. Great Repair, and video! Thank You. 😁
ОтветитьWhen you look at NorthridgeFix and think this is easy work. Great job. Why dont you buy traces
Ответитьexcellent video, would say the trace on the bottom row left side was a little high ;)
Ответитьget some pad strips please.
ОтветитьNice one mate, brought back from the dead. Good repair even if it is only 1 side
ОтветитьThank you for sharing
