Can you do some videos on the quest 3, and how to get good VR experiences. the best equipment use and the baseline minimum. PCVR
ОтветитьI'm wanting to purchase a computer that is a good match for my quest 3. You mentioned in the video to check the manufacturer specifications. I went to meta website and I couldn't find where their PC compatibility specs are. Where did you find yours? Perhaps if someone out their nose were they specifications are on the Matassa that they could offer a link. Deeply appreciated, great video.
ОтветитьRift S runs flawlessly with an i5 10400 (6 cores). you REALLY don't need a strong computer for 1440p VR (like the Rift S). also using an RTX 2060.
ОтветитьSome apps will be more demanding on your CPU, some on your GPU. Most of the time it will be the GPU, but it's good to have a good CPU and GPU
ОтветитьI think I'll stick to psvr2 lol
ОтветитьI seem to get constant frame drops in blade and sorcery with a ryzen 7 3700x. I think my cpu might not be up to scratch for the game
ОтветитьThe sponsor for this video didn't age well
ОтветитьCan you guys make a updated video comparing CPU’s and Graphics Cards for VR in 2023??? Could really use the help.
ОтветитьYes you do.
ОтветитьThanks it took some time to get the answer to my question, well I’m assed out ,sucks 🥺
ОтветитьHi we can connect 2 (VR quest 2) i look that what recommenced to Play 2 players on same pc .the graphic recommandéd if (TI or not )
ОтветитьSo I’m new to VR! And I have a MSI pulse GL66 and I have a 3050 or a 3070 GPU. And when I try to use my oculus on my pc it says I don’t have the correct system requirements
ОтветитьLinus what do u think of the i7 6700
ОтветитьWould like to know how RAM effects VR.
Seeing vr uses cpu as well.
Boi did this not hold up
Ответитьwith a 4090 you have cpu Problem thats for sure
Ответитьhey im getting my first gaming pc so i can play steam vr games and i just wanted to know if the computer is good enough. it has Intel Core i5-12400F, Gainward GeForce RTX 3060, 1000GB space and 16GB ram
ОтветитьHonestly the best part about OQ2 is despite you having lots of problems with pcvr, they all seemingly disappear by themselves if you just wait a while
ОтветитьOculus/Meta/Facebook is dead… Zuck had a good run.
ОтветитьMy current rig has four cores in the CPU my new rig will have 12 cores in the CPU. I am also currently running a 1650 GTX and my new graphics card will be a 3060. So hopefully I will see some difference, dang! Yeah that's stuttering stuff really sucks
Ответитьplease some VR benchmarkss !!! i NEED VR BENCHMARKS !!!! i have 3070 and i want to see VR BENCHMARKS with it :D
ОтветитьI7-3820 go burr.
ОтветитьWithout benchmark this is a huge waste of anyones time to watch. Google your cpu and the game, see someone run it? Good. Done.
Ответитьah, the days when DDR3 was not the modern equivalent to DDR2 from then... sorta. Not a too huge gap between rate 5 and rate 4 yet.
When DDR4 was new, I had 8GB DDR2 but let's just say I only needed 4........
yeah.....
i like this channel but, this video was so dumb and so blatantly sucking off sponsor its creepy.
ОтветитьVRChat does use a huge bunch of cpu threads for calculating all the physic hair bones of all players and you in the session...
Ответитьthe audio and video seem a bit out of sync
ОтветитьI'd love to see this frametime revisited with different pcie generations
ОтветитьJesus, what psycho would dare play mirrors edge in vr 😅😅😅
Ответитьmy 6700k cant keep up with a vega 56 with a Rift CV1 its really anoying even putting everything on low cant get a fluid experience on Half life alyx.
ОтветитьI'm running VR on an i7 940 w/ a Geforce 970
Some titles at least. . .
literally the only game i play is not using my rtx 3080 but my ryzen 3 3600x
Ответитьi5 12400f (Base clock is like 2.6 but can go to 4.4ghz) ok for vr. Like for example, Blade and Sorcery?
ОтветитьSpecs seem way overboard IMO, running 3770k @4.2, 16gb ram and 3060. Able to maintain 90 on quest 2 via Virtual Desktop wirelessly while simultaneously recording via OBS.
However the extra cores are welcomed if you are buying new.
Also he's a guy who says you don't need a high spec pc to play games. 😆
I use gen 11 , 11700f and 6600xt for my quest 2. Yet even for a modded 2012 game like skyrim Vr, even that won't cut it for 4k texturepacks.
Ah yes the Oculus graphics are so "next gen"
Ответитьwindows mixed reality requires AVX2.0 so a lot of older Zeon Cpus that would normally work for VR won't work with WMR. I found this out years ago when I tried to build a cheap VR system.
ОтветитьWould an Intel 11th gen i5-11400f with 6 cores and a 3060 Ti be fine for vr games like half life?
Ответитьand theres me running vive on a ryzen 3 2200 gtx1050ti 4gb v ram 16gb ram ( with very little problems ) for over 3 years !
Ответитьi dont mind the Quest 2 ... its fun since they have a lot of self contained titles no PC needed. But i need more pc power for SKyrim VR or War Thunder on higher graphics and mods imo. LMK what you guys think. I have a laptop Helios 500 which has a 2700 CPU and a Vega 56. I think I need to go Desktop to take advantage of VR Properly.
ОтветитьCan you give us some tips for running games to the Quest with Virtual Desktop
Ответитьthis... this felt weired
Ответитьlmao remember when oculus was called oculus?
ОтветитьI loved everything about this video but the trashy Facebook headset
ОтветитьGoodbye Meta !
Ответить2022 update I run a 10700k 32g ram, game and OS on m.2 and a 2060 K.O. for my Oddessy + works great when WMR and SteamVR aren't screwing things up.
Ответитьlol i quickly read that as SPECIAL CUP and laughed
ОтветитьHey linu_ wait this isn’t linus 💀
Ответитьnice vid, but where are the benchmarks? truly, results > anecdotes any day of the week
Ответить
