This highlights clip needed to be longer. With Root's dismissal, you had Bill Gulliver (Will O'Rourke) hit him in the box at 147kph, and it had Root compromised. There was the passage of play with Bill Gulliver troubling Bethell and really ramping up his pace, hitting 153kph. Several overs where every ball was around 146kph or higher. Then he gets suckered by a slower ball from Southee. The context of many of these dismissals was lost, and there is definitely a better approach needed with putting these clips together. Maybe 5-6 minute clips should be made per session? This would do a much better job of showing how the test developed.

Thats the way to do it Southee. With grace and dignity. The holigancy of bennie stokes came back in the worst karma thinkable and bit him in the arse.

Southee and his team played good and proper cricket and deserved their victory with grace. Stokes on the other hand made an utter fool of himself acting out his holigancy and left the game hirt. Shame on you cowboy..

Bazball is good in some occasions but not suitable in every condition.

Congrats to Southee, he has been a great player for NZ, but I do not like how he apparently became bigger than the team (performance). If they (NZ Cricket) could boot Wagner out, they should've booted Southee too - his poor run of returns confirm this, it ain't personal.

Bethell looks like he will be a great white ball player for England in the future. That's what I thought when I saw him, but then he got shoehorned into the test team and it seemed like they were trying to do to much with him. When he got that 50 off 37 balls it started to look like I was right and I wanted him out of there with his bazball, bat this innings, 76 off 96, shows that he can at least play defensive and has potential for test. Obviously there were some dumb attacking T20 bazball shots, but his strike rate paired with the enormous amount of talent showcased inclines me to believe that with some work and discipline, England might have their new next generation all-format player.

Other than Bethell and Root England looked like they had just given up. No one prepared to bat for 6 days to save the test match! Pity this NZ team took three test matches to arrive!

Awful test match batting, just awful. Didn’t even put up a whimper. I’m sure every opposition team will be happy if Pope is getting a game

Well done NZ. Where is the sense in running at a brick wall (NZ bowling attack) and sacrificing your wicket. We were never going to win, try and play for the draw. To many big egos in the England team, no common sense.
