This mod rules
ОтветитьLove this mod. Also unlucky louis and ben got zombie mission on their first ambulance
ОтветитьYou know I unironically played this while waiting for the newest version of X-Com Files to come out and yeah while it was very clearly as it seemed in the video and more... It was actually fun at first, it's 100% melee focused and they definitely screwed themselves having most of their radar range in the ocean (no shit) but after a while it clearly started to devolve into some of x-com's least fun bits which is research to research to research to finally get something useful.
It's absolutely a neat idea I'd love to see replicated but with less of the overt theming.
ive been playing this shit for like 100 hours and can't even manage to build a workshop or the codex to shoot anything down
ОтветитьOh this one's really old right? I remember they tried it like 4 years ago. I was disappointed seeing this it made me think there was more.
ОтветитьThis must be pretty old. The mod has come a long way since.
ОтветитьSad they didn't just toggle off nudity and kept going rather than let it be a dealbreaker, Xpiratez is a real passion project and so much fun to play and explore!
ОтветитьEveryone who has ever tried to record a video knows Lewis' pain at the end very well.
ОтветитьYou have no idea how much I want an XCOM game like this but without all the weird waifu shit
ОтветитьCrazy that large enemies take 4x the damage from explosions because they attack all 4 tiles
ОтветитьReally wish lewis and Ben stuck to this but I guess too lewd, checked it out a bit but far too much content for my goldfish brain
ОтветитьI would recommend anyone who loves original xcom as much as I do to try xpiratez. It's a weird horny mess (thankfully nudity can be turned off) that looks extremely juvenile, but the further you go on you realize how fucking MASSIVE this thing is. It goes beyond making xcom a totally different game, it really is near the peak of what a game like this can be. The world is incredible and actually well thought out, the storytelling is sometimes difficult because of how xcom research works (and how fucking big this mod is) but it really feels alive. That, coupled with the fact that every playthrough is very different (seemingly infinite combinations of gear, characters, playstyles, craft) AND there are SO MANY KINDS OF MISSIONS you will never even see all of them in a single playthrough. Hell, I've done nearly 2 and I'm still finding new things.
Bottom line: do your best to look past the extreme horniness and casual misogyny, this mod is incredible if only from a depth of mechanics and lore angle
did you know that multi tile attacks do 4 times damage to multitile enemies because they're getting hit on 4 tiles?
ОтветитьI would love a american revolution style xcom game, firing a musket and going for a bayonet charge because it takes a turn to relode.
Then you have the veterans who can fire 2 shots a turn, or officers wielding 4 pistols.
If there is such a game please, do tell me
holy shit a dream come true
