Where's the hybrid AWD hatch????
ОтветитьI love mine I have the sunroof AWD hybrid I have tons of power it takes off as great as my old firebird from the 90s was made in Japan and had 4 miles when I purchased
ОтветитьIt is a good comfortable point a to b car. Nothing special but nothing bad, thats a toyota.
ОтветитьCorolla needs to go upmarket in the next gen to better compete against the Civic and WRX. Bring back the Yaris to fill in the gap left behind
Ответитьthe dealers do the same thing in australia a 30 klms car is considered 2nd hand so the sell it for a lot more than anew one sometimes 10k dearer esp if it is a hybrid
Ответитьoh, an AWD... can we drift this car like the 86 corolla?
Ответитьgreat car to dailey drive back & forth to work, no frills.
ОтветитьI currently own a 2012 Civic, and while it's been a good car, I do intend on getting a Toyota next. I like small sedans, so the Corolla hybrid would be perfect for me.
ОтветитьLove you guys for giving the dealers shitt big F U to does who have choose to take advantage of people in these hard economic times!
ОтветитьI want to buy one.
ОтветитьI'd go for the base Corolla hatchback over the sedan. The Hatchback is actually nice looking. Keep the great reviews coming!
ОтветитьIt’s… a car.
I’m buying one ASAP.
Absolutely on point the dealership's with their price markups can't help themselves it's freaking enoying.🤬
ОтветитьMy uncle bought a Toyota and drove it 55k miles without an oil change. It ran great but then a drunk driver ran into him, killing him and totaling the car.
ОтветитьWhy do reviewers keep calling it 'boring'? This is the coolest looking Corolla that has ever been made. It's more horsepower and more features than any car I've ever owned.
ОтветитьWow That's messed up how the Dealer gets around the MSRP!!!!
ОтветитьI love Toyota, but I’m not fond of hybrids whatsoever. I used to have a Prius, and the cost of maintenance is extremely expensive. Does Toyota make a non hybrid all wheel drive model?
ОтветитьIf we base all other brands off of how this car works and how it stands on the car ecosystem, every other brand should be ridiculously good but as far as I’m concerned every other car manufacturer has just gotten beat and they are getting 1 upped by a Toyota. I use to have other cars but I have just switched to all Toyota because they haven’t gone to the crappy car manufacturing that every other brand seems to have in some aspect
ОтветитьThe Corolla AWD. One of the most a car in history. I’m a former GTI, WRX and Wrangler owner. And now, maybe because I grow old too quickly, i’m really appealed by this. Like…it’s a mean. An appliance. It works.
Exciting? Nah. But I for one think there’s no more exciting cars anyway. If we’ll get computers on wheels, let’s make sure it works.
I’ll have my dear Moto Guzzi for the excitement.
After driving bmws and other cars now I just want a simple reliable car that wont waste my money and works everytime: a corolla
ОтветитьI think cars like this will make a come back. The way vehicle prices are going its all your average Joe will be able to afford.
ОтветитьProlly the best overall bang for your buck car you can get and will do all your everyday tasks or trips
ОтветитьTruly one of the cars of all time
Ответитьdealer charging me $2656 extra or wait 1 year more for car
ОтветитьNo civic hybrid in the United States yet! I’m getting the Corolla
ОтветитьBase Corolla hybrid on Toyota UK site is £30k!! 49k CAD!
ОтветитьWe have a corolla from 80s with 210 000+ km s and it has never broke down for the past 10 years
ОтветитьWait, in my 320iX during a predominantly countryside ride (only like 30% of the route is urban) I'm casually getting about 5.6-5.8 l/100km in "Comfort" mode without trying too much. I bet it's possible to go down to low 5s with enough determination. I'd expect a hybrid to easily better those numbers.
ОтветитьSmelling farts out of a bowl is how I wake up in the morning.
Ответитьdealers suck, interesting way to mark up a car..
ОтветитьId drive one.. not an LE but yes Id rather have a Corolla than a Prius (even the nice new one) cause most Prii drivers are dbags. AND our 2021 Lexus LC500 convertible's stereo sucked... not loud enough when the top was down, no base, etc... so we now have a Corvette C8 Z51 with MRC.
ОтветитьThank you for reviewing a base model - and for what it is!
ОтветитьI have a 2023 Toyota Prius LE on order. This car makes me rethink what I want. I have never had a heated steering and my hands are always cold.....
Ответитьbest CPI combat car! Best people car!
Ответить$35k for a subcompact? No thank you.
ОтветитьMy base 1996 Corolla is still one of my favorite cars. It's just a car. You can mash the shit out of it, and it just doesn't mind. It's just a car.
ОтветитьI wish they would bring back station wagons . Not everyone needs or can afford an SUV ,PICKUP TRUCK OR MINIVAN
ОтветитьI have one of these in eastern Europe which is a 2019 model year. I sometimes get 3l/100km driving it in straight road at 70 kmh
Ответитьleaving this comment just solely based on the title.. "The most sensible car in the world" with a $5K mark up and 6 months of waiting list lol no thank you.. ive driven corollas my whole life but dealership salesman are scumbags. now ill watch the video.
ОтветитьWhy they change the grill
ОтветитьThere is a silent majority of us that drive these entry level Japanese appliances for 10yrs+. By the time we are to purchase a new one we appreciate the decade plus of new standard amenities we didn't miss😊
ОтветитьTook only 4 months to deliver.
ОтветитьAlso eat bugs and rent everyone! Remember YOU and COWs are the reason for climate change and DONT. YOU. DARE. FORGET. IT!! You peasant... I mean poor… no brave scum!.. no brave progressive folk!
ОтветитьLooked at one of these at our local Toyota dealer (Langley Toyota) and they broke out the book of "Everything Dealers do to Screw Customers." Wouldn't accept a cash purchase (make more money from financing), insisted we had to buy a $600 remote "insurance" package, so if we lost our remote, they'd replace it for "free," inflated "documents" charges, etc. Sleaze from top to bottom.
Do dealers think there are going to be car shortages forever and that we won't remember who tried to screw us over when they had the advantage?
I only wish they offered the hybrid in the hatchback. That would literally be the perfect commute car.
ОтветитьThere is something that I don’t understand about the higher end Corollas that have this whole push the button to start your car and how you can unlock your car by pushing some button on the inside of the door handle.
What if someone were to break into your car doing that whole push the button to unlock and turn your car on. That’s the reason why if I possibly do get a Toyota Corolla or Camry, I’m just gonna get the LE basic version and would rather use a key to start my car.
I took one look at the window sticker at the dealer, and instantly knew this was a great purchase. Didn’t even need to open the door or test drive it. It was $28,000, $2000 mark up, 30 grand US dollars total
