Drawing with the Pen tool, Pencil tool & Brush tool Ep10/19 [Adobe Illustrator for Beginners]

Man i suck at drawing i destroyed that flower with the pencil tool

for more difficulty, use pen tool to do all the shapes. thats when you get proper mastery as the vector paths REALLY help out, especially when you can revisit paths, and create stroke layers and fill layers, saves loads of time

I hate the pen tool.. I always liked to draw a straight line in Flash mx and bend it where i needed after the fact. this is really hard for me to make precise bends where i need them

Never mind I found out that now they all exist in the same pen tool.

When I try the "click and convert" method my lines start to curve and dont keep straight when moving to the next click. Any idea what's causing that?

You know I got up to lesson 9 not really knowing where I was going with this and thinking I was spending a lot of time not getting very far. Then lesson 10 happened I I feel like it all came together in that lesson. Great stuff really appreciated.
