Rewatching this, the clone army parade scene here and at the end are chilling. It's a hint of what's to come with the storm troopers. The use of the Imperial March motif at the end of the film really hammers it home.

Imagine spending your childhood with hundreds of your brothers, training and sharing everything with them. Then you are thrown into a war and you see thousands of your brothers die. Then after years of fighting and after countless losses, when the end of the war is finally within reach, Order 66 comes and you are forced to kill the Jedi and friends you went through so many battles with, without being able to do anything against it. Then finally, after you have done all this for the Republic, they destroy your home and drop you like trash.
In my opinion, the Clones are one of the most tragic characters in Star Wars.

My personal theory: The whole Kamino people are straight evil and knew Sidious plan, even helped developing it. Sidious could not implant the knowledge of what to do in case of Order 66 without their help. He is a politician and fighter, no clone scientist. And the Jedi would have found out about order 66 if the Kaminos did not actively hide it. Maybe they are linked to an old sith cult or something. Their history is deleted from the archives. This would make no sense if it just would be an innocent science culture. The clothes of the prime minister: Black with a red belt. Clear sith colors. Also the clones were loyal soldier but never felt like friends of the Jedi. They are clones of Jango Fett, a hired killer, and are even more obidient to orders then him. They never hesitated or regret anything during order 66. The music for the clones sound much like the empire, they look like stormtrooper. They are all evil.

They just stumble upon this giant and presumably mega expensive army that all look exactly like a known bad guy bounty-hunter, ordered by a former Jedi that for some reason kept it secret until he was murdered by Dooku.
Hell I think it only speaks to how awesome Star Wars is, that it's still so awesome despite some pretty ridiculous writing at times.

Having seen The Clone Wars, any of these Clones could potentially be Rex or Fives or Echo.

Anyone else ever think how the SW universe has clones, space travel, laser guns/swords and yet most of the people are poor and living in shacks lol.

It's weird. Did George Lucas intentionally made the Jedi looked like the bad guy by using living breathing clones and the separatist good guy by using mindless robots or is that just me?

Am I the only one bothered by the lack of synchronicity in that block at the end?

Fun fact: George Lucas wanted the clones to be not the predecessors, but directly the stormtroopers of the original trilogy, since he always imagined them as clones. However, the expanded universe took it upon itself to retcon this, although Lucas didn't mind.

In all of Star Wars lore, no army was more feared than the clones. Some would argue Mandalorians are. But even then clones were trained by Mandalorians and the republic commandos were said to be on par with some of the strongest ones. Not to mention the numbers

What kills me the most is later during the movie Count Dooku himself tells Obi Wan of the grand scheme of things with the clone army. That they were built by him to betray them in the end and Obi Wan didnt bat an eye.

I know a lot of people don't like this film, but I will take it above anything Disney has put out

You know. With the amount of bullying I endure on a daily basis, I would much rather be a clone trooper, and just take orders without regard, and without emotional feelings. Just simple obedience without any expectation of rewards or fear of punishment. Just obey, and march into battle. Fight and do your best until your time is up.

Despite how much hate this movie gets, this kamino scene is really cool.

IMO, I don’t hate this movie as much as everyone else does, not to say it’s good. Basically everything that is not the Anakin and Padme sublot is not all too bad, such as this kamino scene, jango fett and the end Geonosis fight.

I know they said Boba is an unaltered clone but imagine he still had the chip and executed order 66 would've been fun to see him hunt down jedi as a bounty hunter i guess kinda like his father Jango
