Unfortunately the Govt doesn't do anything to help stop this.
New immigrants, Refugees are caught in this web.
You're a scammer and nothing about the fact that someone that called you is asking questions as *such, doesn't set off alarms about their *true intentions?!? Ok.......

ОтветитьFunniest part is when he says his name is “Dave Maxwell.” He asks for the name again, oh “James Johnson.”
Then he goes “yes. James Johnson Maxwell.”
I had a funny interaction couple years back. A scammer called and told me that I have a warrant for my arrest. I pressed them to know more about it. They told me that FBI agent are on the way to perform the arrest and it's my only chance to make it right. I, then, told them: FBI are comming to my house? But let me ask you a question how would the FBI agent arrest me? He then told me that because i was uncooperative the charge has escalate and I'm looking for 20 years in prison. I then ask him why is the FBI arrest me and not the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police)? It's then he told me that the FBI can arrest anyone with a warrant out. I guess he was thinking that the FBI is a worldwide organisation and can opperate over other country border :)

ОтветитьAttention: The IRS will never, ever call you unless you called them first and left a message.
ОтветитьLol it’s pick up on the first ring. Lol. It takes 45 minutes just to navigate through the damn prompts when you call the REAL IRS. 9-25-23
Ответить😅 purée ! Il y en a des arnaques aux États-Unis ! Pas étonnant qu'ils soient paranoïaques
ОтветитьMy friend got scammed for 15 years and broke her financially cause they always threatened with legal action. Just recently she didn't have money to give them, I ask her where the case number, doc# and she never had any of those. Plus they been texting her and she never once seen them in person. Crazy
ОтветитьThis should be fun
ОтветитьI’m surprised that the officer didn’t tell the scammer that this is part of an ongoing investigation and they just needed to record his voice for signature identification as well as to determine the location of where the call is being received. The officer should tell him that he should expect extradition papers for prosecution. That way he can scam the scammer!
ОтветитьDoes that work for solicitation calls from PBA too?
ОтветитьMy question is, the police dept does not have the machinery to trace the address or the location where the call is coming from and arrest the scammeres? .
ОтветитьThis happened to me and it was my bad luck that the timing was such that I didn’t realize it was a scam. I was working the prev night on my immigration paperwork and I got this call from 911 at work so I took it because I feared something bad had happened to my family. It was the IRS agent calling with an arrest warrant because my “green card had expired”. That was red flag because I didn’t have a green card then but for some reason I was so gullible because he spewed some nonsense on immigration rules and he got me by putting so much fear in my head. He had me take the car and drive home to be “arrested” and I followed the plan until he asked me to park somewhere and go to a 711 to get gift-cards or wire money. That rang a bell and I insisted I give a check to the “officer who was waiting at my door to arrest me” because it is legal tender and I wanted to understand what the charges are in person. But they kept insisting I go to 711 until they gave up and finally hung up. It just dawned on me that I was scammed. Shaking I drove home anyway only to find business as usual. I was worried for my child because at once instance they said they will need my day care address to pick up my child but mommy instinct was fierce and I put my foot down. I’ve never feared the police and so I told them nothing doing I will go with the police if need be to pick up my son and won’t give anyone the whereabouts. These people are cruel and vile. Please be careful. I didn’t incur a financial loss but I was traumatized by that incident.
ОтветитьThese scammers must have zero awareness of their own accents.
ОтветитьHello, looking for sponsership helping and training people in Africa..Creating awareness..will appreciate to get support thanks

ОтветитьI was hoping the cop would get arrested.
ОтветитьI work for a company in the United States but I don’t not live there. I got a call from the (IRS) about taxes. I gained access to the scammers bosses computer and took many files. I then sent the information to the police and a day later the house was raided and arrested. Basically the United States gathered enough evidence to have all the scammers in that building shipped to the United States and sentenced to 200 years in prison.
ОтветитьFirst clue
