I'd far, far rather have the durability of the previous model (14 Pro Max) than shave off a little weight with the new model, really hope Apple has a rethink for the 16 Pro Max which, if it comes with 8K and it's good rather than an afterthought, will probably be my next big phone upgrade.

I used to kind of laugh at drop tests, they didn't seem very real world, but sometimes when I'm in a hurry I have dropped my phone and the idea of a very expensive repair when the glass shatters and the camera module pops out? Nightmare. And I get just 'use a case', of course, but if it's a hot day and I'm shooting 4K, I don't want it to crap out on me to protect itself from the heat; in that most cases act as a heat insulator, I take mine off when shooting 4K for long periods on a hot day.

Hard for me to tell but on my desktop set up with fairly good-ish monitor speakers, the 14 Pro sounded better to me than the 15 Pro, clearer/more detail, the 15 Pro either a little muffled or just 'smoother', which might be preferable from small/tinny speakers that emphasise treble frequencies.

Thanks for calling out Apple on not offering software improvements with the 14 Pro.

well iv ordered another space black 14 PRO MAX 1TB that should give you my answer. iv already got the silver white 100% out the box perfect one year later with 100% battery health no on can beat me on battery i have my very own apple Senior Advisor going back to phone X where true tone came out the black wallpaper was from me after apple talking to me as i had to explain pixels the little apples had a hard time keeping up with me. then i invented the paddle lock in notes so for battery life my tips are NO u tube turn the brightness DOWN kill off ALL back ground app re fresh iv tryed my best for the little apples to REMOVE this altogether. but its still there SLOW CHARGE not fast charge fast charge will heat up fast HEAT kills i noticed on the pro betas ios 17 the phone was hot oven glove hot, after the upgrade i turned the phone off and put the phone in the freezer for 15 mins i use the 5 watt apple charger in the summer winter i move to the flat bed quick charger the temp is a lot cooler as this charger heats the phone up pretty quick

I went to see the 15 pro and max they’re really nice and lighter. Like I mentioned in other videos don’t upgrade unless you have iPhone 12 or older. My iPhone 12 Pro is still a good phone but technology wise it’s not as fast and the camera isn’t as good as iPhone 14 and 15. I’m getting the 15 pro max on December but keeping iPhone 12 Pro as my backup 📲

Apple is not same as it was before. Earlier, you couldn't go wrong with an upgrade, but now, year after year, you seem to have to wait for them to perfect the new one so that you can have the best next year. Only to get disappointed next year too.

15 Pro is not worth upgrading unless you are on a X, 8 or older. My 13 Pro is like a tank not upgrading until the 17 or 18 Pro

Apple has a history of keeping some software features exclusive to newer devices. It's sad... but The iPhone 15 Pro has a new main sensor with a larger aperture (f/1.78 vs. f/1.8) and a new pixel binning technology that allows it to output 24MP images by default.

I think the biggest difference between 14pro and 15pro is that I kinda hate the 14pro, and I love the 15pro. The form factor makes a huge difference in my opinion. I expected the 3nm to have a bigger impact on battery life though.

Went from 14P to 15PM -- the 5x lens feels like a huge upgrade. the portrait shots are absolutely insane. battery life is way better than the 14P although no surprise since going to the max. pleasantly surprised. Too bad the 15P is not much of a change.
