That voiceover tone is so noir, does not fit the content, but excellent in and of itself.

What a time to be alive:
Back in the day those shots would have required a $1M+ CAMERA SETUP with a million dollar CREW aboard a well trained HELICOPTER PILOT (after filing for permits)... and you still wouldn't get 4K quality and color management without proper lighting and film selection.
What a time to be alive. Glad this young man is taking full advantage and generously sharing with us.
Instant sub.

Very nice photography and scenery. That bike really scoots. Are you completely vertical on the tracks or is there a 1 or 2 degree tilt towards the outrigger? I guess is should watch the bike build next. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Why would you even need a suspension? Why wouldn't you use a road bike type instead of a 35+ lber ?

It's all fun and games, until you get flattened by the ghost train that used to use these tracks.

Really cool adventure. I was a railroader 50 years. Those things you called grounding straps are actually Cadwell bonds. They're used on jointed track for low voltage dc current to ensure continuity for the signals and even crossing gates

A good friend of mine and myself was there a few weeks ago. We were wondering about that cement company. And the trail you were on in the beginning of the video leads to a really cool beach with a man made tunnel.
Also, every weekend the Roadhouse has a live blues band.

Does the railroad allow you to just use their rail for transportation without any sort of permits?

Don't camp next to the tracks. They used the worst chemicals to keep the tracks free of plants.

I liked the idea so much of rail riding , I bought myself a vintage Fairmont railway speeder. I have never yet had an opportunity to use it. Here in Ontario Canada , tracks are ripped out as soon as no longer in use and turned into walk paths. Even State side , in part due to the growing popularity and possible misuse by rail riders, tunnels are being sealed off and aging trestles being torn down (for safety reasons?)
