Can I add text to the video before rendering the gif? You can do it in Giphy! I have Camtasia Studio. Can I add text to a video and render a gif in that program?

problem is the result are terrible, I mean by default its compression is set to high already, the output got 'banding' effect.

Does capturing the video as a GIF also capture the sound ?
