I have extremely tight 4c natural/afro white hair makes me depressed daily, it's so difficult to maintain and manage 😢.

Gosh i am here coz i haven't combed my hair or washed my hair for 6 month's i lost my job in a foreign country i had to move houses and cities and a broken relationship to top it all up. i am now ready to give it a go however the shedding is insane.

It gives me hope to get up and do something to myself. I'm not sure there's a stylist in my small area who could make me feel as safe as you seemed to be with her. You didn't come off judgmental at all. Some people say, they're depressed but when you actually suffer from depression, it's hard to do anything. Ok, I'm finished now. I got carried away❤.

I took my locs down I used a rat tail comb and a small guage knitting needle which worked out better for me to pick them loose

I was just about to ask why did she wait so long to comb her hair. But then I realized that sometimes people are just going through things and we should not judge.

I am in awe of your incredible patience with this daunting task. I am a retired hairstylist after 46 years of doing hair and while I dealt with mostly white people's hair, I appreciate your gentle loving treatment of your client.....kudos to you!!!

Years ago there was a black hairstylist in a nazi country taking out young black women's hair she would take pictures of there heads than store them in a photo album like some thropy it's like how could you do that she was no good worthless piece of trash.but when I see a stylist like you I am greatful that there is someone out here that's taking their time and patience with women of color not being hateful and spiteful for no damn reason

I understand my hair dreaded I was in active addition plus I don't do my hiar often do to wear wigs and I'm a mom so I don't have time but I'm going wash it its so it's and looks so ugly so understand I looked up hair NEGLECT because I wasn't sure if other people neglected their hair like I did I don't feel so bad anymore knowing others been through it so thanks for understanding accidental locks I was on drugs really bad that's y I let it happen and I didn't wash or comb it thanks for this video

The messages in this video that were conveyed can be taken in any context. Not just hair! Depression and other tough situations can make people not take care of themselves or feel like doing nothing. No matter what someone is going through, you have to show compassion and kindness. People go through something everyday everywhere. It could be a loss, depression, a breakup, etc. I don't know too much as I'm only a teenager, but it's important to help those people because they could do something that will hurt them or themselves or just start not caring about themself or health. This video is amazing. The way you helped her and took care of her hair is so beautiful. She has such amazing hair and curls. You are such an inspiration!
