Hello, i'm doing everything that's said during the video but it isn't working. The only thing i can't reproduce precisely is the Source of the displacement map for all 4 layers because Effects and Masks is grayed out on my AE, don't know why... I think it might be the cause of my issues. Anyone ?

Edit : nvm, i found the solution. The fractal noise has to be applied to a solid layer, and i used an adjustment...

Very intricate. I tried doing this with all the layers and effects settings, but I can't seem to make the fractal noise layer bleed away. It just sits there as a solid. What am I missing here?

Is there a photoshop brush that can do this?

Thanks for the great tutorial! I’m having an issue however with CC Time Blend FX. It’s causing large glitches in the preview and export. The footage is jumping back and forth with multiple flash frames. Have you experienced this issue before?

CTI stands for “current time indicator” and is the blue line that moves up and down your timeline as you play or review your composition. Move the CTI to your desired marker location before placing your marker.

the above sentence is the issue i am currently having in my after effects timeline panel and i cant move it manually when ever i move it it goes all they way to 1 frame not in between kindly guide what should i do to make it move as i wanted to. thank you
