Hi , nice information, I am doing video on A7Cii with 2470 gmii, want to get fx3 for standalone video purposes, will it really make difference in comparison with A7Cii ?

Yup! I switch from Nikon’s Il-fated “Filmmaker’s Kit) (which Apple will never support) to Sony last Summer (2023) and went for the A1 and all GM 2.8 glass… nice camera but it OVERHEATS on every - serious - in studio shoot!!! 🤬 picked up an FX3 a couple of months ago and NO PROBLEM! Clearly the most important feature as I have talent and crew sitting around while we have to ‘fan’ the A1 🤬🤬🤬 Do not regret the A1 for megapixel images and high synch flash… but it’s a Princess when I need a Workhorse and the FX3 is my go-to!

I’m thinking of getting a 2nd FX3 but I’m holding off for the ‘FX3ii’ (or whatever they are gonna call it???) and that’ll relegate the A1 to 3rd camera for “context” shots and stills

Affirm sells it to you for $154 a month for 48 months which is doable for a monthly payment. But after the 48 months you've paid the equivalent of 2 FX3's. The prices we a pay to do battle...

Does this camera FX3 has IBS in body stabilization? Do you have audio
in 120 fps while shooting? Thanks

Just bought the FX3 as my b cam, running A1 as my main camera. Loving the FX3 so far.

I have a a74,zve1,fx30 with top handle elr, i wanted the cannon c70 or r5c do think i should trade 2 for 1 or just buy it right out and keep what i have sir just asking a season director, creator ,photographer i see u as the best and just wanted your honest opinion thanks have a great day

Question, in low light, to avoid noise…you have to crank the iso all the way up to 12800? That seems pretty high for a base iso

Something that often gets overlooked is that this is the most powerful cinema camera that still looks just like a still camera. If discretion is an important aspect of your process then this camera is still very much king.

Bought my first camera ever this year. It’s a Sony ZV E10

This is Why I bought the Sony FX30 as it's basically the APS-C version of this Full Frame Version. I love the features you're describing for the FX3 on My FX30. I've Finally got the Cinema Rig Set up that will carry me for as long as I want. It's My ALL-IN-ONE Camera and I use my ZV-E10 as my Secondary Camera. Now that I have the perfect Lens setup for mine which is the 15mm F1.4 G Lens. It's My Perfect Setup for me

Do you think FX3 is better than Sony Burano or Venice? Venice 2 is the top of the line camera especially with the realto system. For vertical content you can center crop. How important would you say it is to be able to rotate the camera 90 degrees? I shoot 8K on RED and cropping seems to hold up the resolution pretty well. For social stuff I export 1080p timelines. I shoot RED and Arri for high end and iPhone 15pro for quick and easy I’m trying to see if FX3 would be better workflow or not really.
