Also: some cooldowns are very reactable. Sleep dart has a wind up time you can see and flash matrix as soon as it’s happening. Echos sticky bombs are another one!

Disagree about the Dva ult one, I think her ult is much more powerful in the 5v5 format now that you don't have to worry about there usually being 2 shields to block it and when timed/launched correctly so the LoS gets max coverage it can be pretty deadly. If you're confident in your skills as a Dva player you shouldn't be getting demeched too often anyway. in fact I see a lot of dva's try to use it as a second mech life and end up just losing that mech instantly during the couple seconds she's climbing in it and it just leads to them feeding more and getting hard staggered. Even though they're old videos I highly recommend looking up Level5Pidgey's Dva ult launching locations, similar to how there are setups for sigma rocks and Ana nade's that are meant for hitting players across the map there's Dva ult spots that can usually guarantee value from her ultimate.

I swear no matter what I do I die so fast as dva. Maybe I'm just playing her wrong but I feel like no matter what I do I lose my mech in seconds in a fight but I can survive just fine as any other tank.

Some of these OW tip accounts are extremely sus, but this dude is always spot on

if you're with coordinated teammates the bomb is a great tool to zone and causes the whole enemy team to panic, and if they ignore it they all die win win

the biggest mistake I see new dva players make is not ramming the other team and returning with the boosters. new players keep saying dva is a back line character and I said no shes dive and they dive and stand there. people need to learn how to dive hold m1 ram into everyone pinball around and return with the boosters back to back line.

Every DVa i meet in game tries and use defense matrix on remantras punches in nemesis mode i have one word that will help then, dont it won't block the damage or the actual punch so don't was the the power on it just fly away and fight someone else

Tbh i destroy people that are used to baby dva not doing much i be agressive af with it and i can get good kills to get my mech back easy her gun is basically mercy's gun but faster. Just work around the corners and spray.

The main issue I see is them not knowing their damage fall off. they will be hitting me for a crispy 1 damage a hit and expecting it to do something.

Not a lot of people understand dva ult is more of a revive than a team wipe yes it can happen but I’d rather get a kill and come back full health.

Good tip as a basically any big tank like Ball, Rein, dva or hog. If you're a man up in a team fight place yourself between the enemy tank and their healers cutting them from LOS this will stop Ana and kiriko from being able to heal their teammates as long as you can absorb the ana/kiriko damage and lets your team hit the enemy tank in the back.

As a DVa main, I'm glad to see people going to help the new guys because when I'm not on tank they make like all these mistakes 💀

I got a question about the last one, yesterday I was about to die from a Brig with her ult, we were both alone and far from our team so I used my ultimate in order to kill her (I was at like 50hp so it was more of a panic ult)... was that smart or should I have saved it to help my teammates later on instead?

I know a "high level"(?) player that almost 99% of the time only uses the Ult as second life. That feels like a wasted opportunity. But I guess it works for him because he's so strong with Base DVA?

Yo any advice on just overall combat play, I main orisa and sigma (dipping into reinhardt cause he's fun) but with all them I get 10k damage and MIT easily every game almost but when I try to use deva I can't get more then 3-5 k and 1k MIT T-T embarrassing
