Classic Sounds preset pack for MicroFreak - 260 retro, old-school, analog, vintage, lo-fi digital

Thank you. Lately I was thinking about buying another gear because I wanted to make more synthwave patches. Your video showed me that I was, again, only scrathing the surface of my Microfreak !

You should make a darkwave style pack at some point to get all of those dirty growly textures the mf is so good at

Arturia should contact you to make a deal about including your presets as defaults in the Microfreak. IMHO way more usable the some of the current default presets.

These are so great - much more to my taste than every other video I’ve heard. Think you just convinced me to finally get one, and start with your patch collection :)

Ok this is some serious synthesis work done here, well done, sir, looking forward to buy your patch pack in the future!!!

I love the abstract side of many sounds made by analog synths, but this beast is deliciously digital in all the right place and the analog filter smooths things out. I was surprised at some of the crazy West Coast synth sounds that another guy coaxed out of the Microfreak, including a lot of percussion. I would love to see Arturia do a proper drum machine with this synth engine. I wonder how many people would buy a DRUM FREAK? I would also love to see Arturia add a touch pad X Y modulation grid, kind of like a Korg Kaoscillator with 4 quadrants, except make it use the same material as the keyboard.

On a another note, I am surprised at how warm and sweet those Wurlitzer electric pianos patches sound! I am looking forward to buying these patches, as soon as our laptop is up an running again. Has anyone created a patch librarian for this yet?

Hey Thoracius, i have a question for you (Yes I know it's been ove 2 years since you've posted this :) )

I'm considering buying my first proper synth and have narrowed it down to either the Microfreak or the Minilogue (XD version). Do you have a recommendation as first synth?

I was leaning towards the Korg, however, having seen/heard the patches you have made for the Microfreak, they seem closer to what I'm looking for than patches you made for the original Minilogue.

Any advice welcome... keep up the good work :)

I’m new at synths and Im wthin micrifeeak and korg minilogue for ambience dream pop, which one do you recommend?

Purchased today - only up to preset 36 and already had some fun creations using these!! Top work fella ;)

When playing 4 notes does it sound well ?… like not cutting off or anything?. I understand this synth is paraphonic tho. Love the sound of these patches!

Your patches correspond to my liking more than the preset provided by Arturia (to much bleep dong bang) but still, I prefer shaping my sounds by myself. It's all in your honnor that you are not trying to sell them by enhancing the sounds with delays and reverbs like some others.

Some of these patches are really amazing. Good work.
