Use native plants. They’re designed by nature to be low maintenance. When you plant non-natives, you have to baby them.

Dwarf Pittosporum is another very easy one to care for. Takes full sun, lots of shade, water, no water…it isn’t fussy. Available in green or variegated colors (silver or gold). I like adding them around the base of larger trees in my yard.

I live in Oklahoma and the wind is unstoppable. I need a hardy shrub for my yard as I live on a corner lot and in the winter the winds can just eat up the garden. Would love to see a video on hardy shrubs which can handle the wind and the cold freezing winds of winter .. because we don’t get a lot of snow either. Thank you.
