Waking Vigil was "Upgraded" ?
They got rid of the Rolls and Perks that made WV that good back in Year 3.

no mention of the Cantata-57 I am enjoying this hand cannon now, but of course waking vigil has been a favorite of mine for some time as well

I don't care about most of those weapons. I have them, they are strong, but in 95% of Destiny's content they trivialise the game and that makes it boring (subjective opinion). But for the other 5% I have tarantula and anarchy ready. I also have an arc slug with vorpal (filo) and my beloved vy-7. Then an arc 72rpm sniperrifle with vorpal. I don't like machineguns that much but just in case I have the swarm. And I have a cantata with timed payload, rapid hit, tactical mag, range MW and arrowhead break for endgame PVE. Also a 260rpm scoutrifle with frenzy. And a frenzy shoot to pick up ammo bow. Alternatively a one for all rapid hit arc "mananan" scout.

I highly doubt I will every pull trinity ghoul out of collections except my team mates force me to, same with riskrunner. Those weapons ruin all the fun in my opinion.

And if we get solar 3.0 then I am screwed since I still miss a lot of decent solar weapons, at least in the legendary and primary weapon department.

Salvager’s Salvo is a great alternative to Forbearance if you can’t raid, since it can just be bought from the Monument to Lost Lights. Also of course Trinity Ghoul and Riskrunner will be huge in Arc 3.0

Solid takes, Pwn. Swarm is an honorable mention for me. Nasty rolls + Arc + Adept Big Ones + Machine Gun buff may be interesting. Also, Ikelos SMG may be meta again.
