React Hooks Tutorial - 18 - useReducer Hook

What i learned from this EP18?


Not much but I just learned the concept of reduce methods in js and its replica on reactjs.
Important 2 things
useReducer(reducer,initialState) // takes 2 parameter
reducer(currentState,action)

useReducer returns 2 values i.e. newstate,dispatch

Remember it is alternative of useState for state management.

useReducer - reducers - basically for changing the states
useState - state
useEffect - side effects
useContext - context APIs
1. singleValue = reducer(accumulator, itemValue) vs. newState = reducer(currentState, action)
2. singleValue = array.reduce(reducer, initialValue) vs. [newState, dispatch] = useReducer(reducer, initialState)
