The reason why the Sengoku era's history is so captivating is because there were just so many contradictory records written by different factions and legends. Unlike imperial China, where there was an official history written by a central authority, different retainers from different clans write their own version and experience regarding the period. So, depending on which version they use, and which version's events they leave out, you can always create a Taiga drama about. the same period. LOL!

It's very well done, even the parts that aren't explained.
What surprised me was that the faces of the characters were the same as the images in Japan.
I burst out laughing when I saw Mitsunari Ishida's nervous face.

It seemed like you were being biased against Hideyoshi, but I see him more as a strategist who was realistic about the situation. During his time, Ming China was weak and vulnerable, and even the Spanish confirmed this. It's worth noting that shortly after the unification of Japan, the Manchu, who were a minority tribe, managed to besiege Beijing and establish the Qing Dynasty. If Hideyoshi had lived for another decade, Japan could have potentially conquered China instead of the Manchu. This shows Hideyoshi's strategic prowess and the missed opportunity for Japan. However, he made a significant mistake by allowing Ieyasu to abstain from participating in the Imjin War, which gave Ieyasu an advantage over the other Daimyos.

It is interesting that the first two rifle muskets, one for sample and another to be disassembled and studied, were copied, improved, improvised and reproduced by Japanese craftsmanship. This made Japan a nation which produced the most of rifle muskets in the world and prevented Portugal and Spain and the other European nations to invade and colonize Japan by sending missionary first then conquer that is the way they conquered in South America.

The Cromwells and family of Macedonia, which can also be known as the Han dynasty conquers of China actually fought against these people. We kicked their asses and almost made their country a island of China. They begged us not to and said that if we left their country they would pay tribute to us. It was a confusing situation but we agreed to leave because we did see that they weren't Chinese (even though we weren't Chinese either) and they were an entirely different people so they got to keep their country and their kingship and laws. But still we treated them like America does Hawaii. The Han and the Chinese people got to visit japan all the time which is something the Chinese never got to do (but they did have to obey the laws of japan) and the tribute was heavy because we did not like them. They thought we were fools but we figured out everything in an instant. They weren't Chinese but they tried to play like they was and infiltrate us and take us down any way they could and the Chinese was in on it. But no they couldn't outsmart us. We won and we remained in power with an full and growing army and Japan was in power with a desolated army.

So the reason why Oda Nobunaga got the title of Demon King is because he basically trolled Takeda Shingen in a letter. XD

Really wish Nobunaga successfully unified Japan. We would have an actual imperium in Asia that can be just as powerful and expansive as that of Spain or even Britain. Shame how it all ended up, but oh well, maybe there's an alternate world where this is the glorious reality.

Nobunaga was an extremely harsh general who did not get along with his officers. Akechi should not have betrayed him,but he was provoked beyond all reason to do so.

Nobunaga baited him all the time and called him Kumquat head. A banquet assignment which he had given to Mitsuhide was suddenly and unceremoniously handed over to someone else. Ieyasu noticed the tension and tried to negotiate between both men,but Nobunaga took no heed.

Akechi’s rebellion was a good thing for Japan because it gave Hideyoshi a chance to shine.

It also allowed the wily daimyo and general,Ieyasu to realize his long held ambition of becoming shogun and forming the Tokugawa dynasty which dominated Japan until the Meiji restoration.
